We only say that to gullible Welsh rugby fans so that when they bend over to pick said imaginary gold they get a good kick up the ar$e, Father Ted stylee :)

Busy day, now headed home to hound sit while Stressbag and Stropreen are out doing something or other. Good excuse for a cider.

That's what we call 'provincial deterrent'. I laugh at your silly Severn Bridge toll charge (about 1 pint in London) :P

Have they abolished it now? It's a step in the right direction, if they pay me the equivalent of a BPW uplift pass then it might be worth a visit.

    Morning Bournville Boulevardeers,
Another glorious and sunny morning, unfortunately I'm in the aris end of the universe. I've got my traditional Thursday morning hangover a day early as it was the MD's retirement drinks last night. I'll fix this by drinking more beer later.

Bit tired but have a bit of peace for a couple of hours so will get packing for Cambridge shortly as I'm headed up there after work tomorrow. Hopefully the work will ease off a bit tomorrow...

    Morning bumders

Quiet time from me, been having a weird few weeks, best mate lost his dad a bit abruptly and a few other things going on have kept me occupied and out of trouble, not to mention the brief summer we've just experienced, over 20 degrees in Wales, that only happens once a year so it was nice to enjoy it.

Time for that to change now! Back on the forums for 24 hours and already being called a gammon  Today will involve vetty stuff and uni stuff in equal measures. Then the weekend shall involve bike stuff, specifically mountain bike stuff!!! Wales is awesome.

    Evening mongs,

Picked up the 'axe murderer with headlights' and managed to avoid killing myself or getting pulled by the plod. Fair bit of self restraint needed...but was still grinning like a loon up the A1

Have visited the old dear and some rellies and now chilling with some plonk till I fall asleep.

    Man down!
Been suffering, mostly silently*, from a cold I picked up in That London. Looks like it's getting better just in time for the return to work tomorrow. Bah!
Dragged my sorry arse out this afternoon to watch The Dragons pretend to play rugby and wish I hadn't bothered. Next year's season ticket is looking more and more doubtful.

What car have you got now, Stevo?

C class AMG estate. It's a bit of an animal and a dirty one at that, with all this crap weather.

Evening skivers, now indoors for the rest of he evening while storm whatever blows through town. Got a presentation to the board tomorrow I'd best remember to wear a tie.

    Good day lesbiscious ones,

Nice whip Stevo, is it electric?

No motivation here today due to horrible weather and the last feelings of Saturdays hangover! No surprise really as I'd drank enough to kill a civvy!

    Afternoon dingleberries,
Good weekend was ruined somewhat by Monday's appearance. Had to drop the car off to be serviced, having the open bit of exhaust capped whilst I wait for a replacement to try and keep the noise down. It's quieter than Stevo's new toy even though half the exhaust is missing I suspect. Supposed to be going for a ride after work but 2 of the 4 going have wimped out. Should go in search of some scoff now.

I'm going to complain as the 'quiet' setting on the exhaust doesn't seem to work :)

Evening All, survived my board presentation unscathed and headed home to chill. Might even ride a bike tomorrow

Evening fuds and 'eco warrior Stevo and his lekky motor'

Played with electrics and plaster board today, none of which sets my world on fire but it gets it done cheap. Got the septic tank arriving tomorrow and I don't mean someone of an American background. Should be getting buried in the ground on Thursday, i shall then delight in soiling all four dunnies in the project!

    Evening plunge clungers,
Busy day at work with a chain skipping wobble at either end. Stopped by Evans for a new cassette which should stop the skipping. Fitted that before starting my tossing for the evening. My tossing was so good my daughter vidoed it. No mishaps so I shouldn’t become an Internet sensation. Now begging on the couch having stuffed my face with pancakes.

    Evening, soilers and speeders.

I tossed for nearly an hour this evening and am now relaxing in the afterglow.

Car sounds nice, Stevo. I trust you can get a full susser in the back with the wheels still on.
