I dodged the ditches but the house is ferkin freezing. Got the heating on full blast and a pint of cider in my hand while I watch Starship Troopers and scoff a pot noodle :)

    Morning, walkers.

Due to the Arctic conditions and both children's schools being closed I am also 'working' from home. We have milk, bread and fish fingers so I am fairly confident we will survive.

Yeah Saturday. Long cold run done, great watching the sun coming up but my feet are fecked as the fields were frozen solid

Into town for ale soon and then over to friends for dinner - just need to work out where I’m watching the rugby

    Evening Gimps,

All in all a good day of sport on both the the normal and odd-shaped ball fronts :) Unfortunately I made it home too early as the roads were way better than I expected after the snowstorm in Redka this morning, so I'm now avoiding Stressbag's lengthy job list...

    Evening restraining order receivers,

Highlight of the day was managing to survive a trip out in the car with Stropteen who's learning to drive. A few tense moments and sarcy comments when I tried to advise, but what do you expect - I only bought the car for her

    Evening wizard sleeves,

Some minor diy today in readiness for the plumber to come and hook all the sinks and dunnies up tomorrow.

In other news I'm still pinching myself after the rugby yesterday, amazing performance by the England chaps.

    Evening Gimboids,

Just waiting to see if the Scousers will drop more points tonight. Otherwise not a lot doing today apart from blonde Polish minion coming back from holiday with a very nice tan. Good morale raiser :)

    Afternoon fistees,
I'd love to give Stevo a hard time over the lack of pictures but seeing as I'm now in an office with 3 lovelies so I have to try and behave, not that I am very good at behaving. Keep getting caught looking at the latest additions aris'
Out for beer and curry last night so suffering a little today. Other than that nothing special to report.
Better pretend to do some work rather than drooling like Homer Simpson outside a doughnut shop.

I read this and thought for a second it must be Thursday - you always go out for beer and curry on a Wednesday. Anyway I'm out tonight so there...

Sorry about the lack of pics of 'Stevo's Angels', you'll just have to take my word for it. I hand picked them myself so you can be asured they are the best girls for the job :)

    Evening voyeurs,

No decent bush to letch at here so i remain quite productive! Layed part of the floor slab in the barn attached to the Gite, I was on the mixer which wasn't as easy as i thought it would be, going to hurt in the morning, managed a few 'medicinal' beers so not feeling too bad at the moment!

    Morning, peepers and dribblers.

What are these 'lovelies' of which you speak? I work in a massively male-dominated industry and the last time I saw a fit woman in the offices was about 2009.

Currently having a new bathroom fitted in the homestead and I cannot believe the amount of shoddy workmanship in modern houses. Ours was built in 2000 and almost every pipe in the bathroom is badly positioned and we discovered all the building waste was stashed under the bath. I hope you are being a bit more professional in your endeavours, bg13.

    Chamonix was :P

On the subject of France, I showed a French bloke who works in our office the 'French Knight' scene from Monty Python & The Holy Grail and he p1ssed himself laughing :)

Just show them episodes of 'Allo 'Allo instead.

Evening Shirkers, not a lot of meetings but still had shed loads to do. Nor sure why, but I've earned a cider when I get home anyway.

Holiday now booked in Crete for August and the last time we get the school holiday ripoff. Stressbag suggested going and I wasn't keen on the idea initially as I meet enough cretins on here, but the change will do me good :)

    Evening lords of the bum!

Wasn't feeling the love today so minced about doing nothing in particular! Now having a glarse of local red to recover from doing nothing! Sorted.
Never been to Crete, doubt I'll want to now you've been Stevo.

    Evening scuzzbags,

Slightly more motivation in my diy today, putting up a wooden framework for the kitchen units. More of the same tomorrow though there's rugby ahoy........and boozes.

    Morning gender neutrals,

Slow start but managed motd and a decent brekky so I'm off to do some diy which will involve shaping plaster board, this will not be fun as a, I have no patience b, I'm don't have the most delicate of touches that this sort of work requires!

Onwards to boozes and rugby, I'll tell you who i want to win after the game!
