More ikea based diy hell today, you'll not have the pain of ikea after this brexit fark up you lucky sausages!

    How was work? Worth it?

Unfortunately we've got IKEA here so we'll still have flat pack hell post Brexit. Might be a few less garlic munchers arround though.

Work was good: didn't do that much but got paid for it :)

    Another day, another dollar.

I'm slurping some vino plonko after finishing my tax return and I'm due a refund. And its snowing in Chamonix. All is good with the world :)

Good point, I'd better start looking at the Ski Bunnies website.

    Morning, stuffers.

I am a poorly Crudder. I appear to have developed bursitis or possibly tendonitis above/behind my kneecap and it's mighty sore. Bending my leg is particularly troublesome. It would probably make any of you lot cry like girls.
It's a cracking excuse to work from home though!

When you are next in IKEA bg13 don't forget to buy at least 3 bags of meatballs and a jar or two of lingon berry jam. It's the law, doncha know.

    Afternoon cave dwellers,
Not posted on here for a few days because my life has been so exciting that there was just too much to write, alternatively because I've been doing sweet FA of any interest. But today there has been some truly exciting news, not. We've got a new bin after our reverse bin collection, some phucker emptied our bin and took it leaving the rubbish behind. Also we finally have emails back at work. Whilst this is good in some ways, it's also bad as people can contact me.
Most importantly today is Wednesday so I'll be going to the pub later. Woohoo!

I think that should cure any 'limp' related problems you have JBA :) Decisions, decisions...

I've now been told that the car will be at the dealer on the 21st of this month but I summoned up the self restraint to tell them to keep it 'till 1st March. I might have to pay a visit before then to lick the paintwork, or maybe get the sales bod to take some photos that I can look at in private.

I don't think TLW counts as he's going snowboarding. Hope he's bought his baggy rad boarding gear and grown a goatee to look the part.
It’s worse than that, my eldest is going, I’m not :(

Evening bumders. Prepare yourselves for a shock.

This week I have managed to do a full week of work, if anyone fancies giving me a medal or something, maybe a trophy, I won't complain.

I can't have drink yet as I have to do Dad's taxi work  - luckily it's a 9.30pm pick up for my non-fare paying passenger so I can catch up with the drinking later on. I need to make up the calorie deficit from cycling into work, right?

In the meantime I'll look at the snow forecasts...

And on a weekend. Properly disgusting.

Good lie in, then been busy getting jobs done, hair cut and ski gear sorted out. I'm packing some extra layers and a beanie hat as it's Newcastle barbecue weather out in the Alps. Stressbag is too lazy to cook tonight so it's time for a bonus take away :)

All packed and ready to roll tomorrow evening. Tomorrow is my Friday - that's pretty skivey even by Crudcatcher standards :)

Chamonix. May do a bit over in Argentiere as well. Been snowing a fair bit over the weekend but it's due to stop today. Wahey.

Ah, skiing. You should have mentioned it earlier.

    Morning, mutants.

I sold The Boy's MTB yesterday. He has hardly used it in the last 2 years and I threatened to sell it if he didn't start riding again. He didn't so I did. He seemed quite shocked when I told him yesterday. I don't think he believed I would do it. Mwa ha ha.

That's all I've got. Nothing else has happened and it doesn't look like anything exciting is going to happen this week.

Been clearing out the mezzanine in the barn today, dwelt maybe a little too long on my ski's and ski boots, one day they'll get a run out!

In other news i see that your govt are struggling to organise their p1ss up in the proverbial brewery!

    Evening Skiing Dodgers :)

Nearly died from raclette poisoning last night so will have fried cow tonight washed down with red wine. Cracking day of skiing today, sun was out and not too cold.

We found a decent bar with some good looking bar maids who seemed to get even more good looking as last night went on. Failing that, we'll head for the local strip joint.
