    Evening wizards sleeves,

Did some alterations to the chicken coop today then got on with the mowing until a nasty thunder storm gave me an excuse to sack it off and get on the beers!

Apparently here's a bit of kickball on but its not showing on bloody terrestrial so we'll just crack on and get some take away then watch the highlights later.

Done loads today so I deserve a drink.

Apart from two decent entries for howlers of the season, not a lot tbh. Gerrards' 'Slippy G' moment might get forgotten after last night

I think I’m dying. Had a great day yesterday. Wife organised a pub crawl treasure hunt thing through Kingston, finished in the function room at the local where she’d got a load of food in and bought a barrel of beer and a fuckton of wine. It did get messy but with TCW abstaining someone has to support the booze industry.
Watched Deadpool 2, very funny if you like crudder humour.

The wife asked if she’d enjoy it, I said absolutely not and the lad just laughed.

After a couple of races yesterday we went straight to the pub - so normal service was resumed

Today is a run followed by visiting Bala with the family

A morning in the back garden got a bit hot so I retreated to Waitrose for supplies and free coffee. They had some tandoori chicken wings on offer so couldn't really refuse :) Just getting my stuff ready for my trip to see the clog wearing minions this week - there's free beer involved as one of them is retiring and I'm expected to be there. It's a hard life.

    Yo, yo, yo, homies!

After 2 days of almost constant rain it looked as if the Bank Holiday weekend was going to be a complete wash out but today the sun came out and it has been lovely.
I have moved shizzle about the house for no better reason than SWMBO said I had to and been for a nice long bike ride. There was coffee and a pasty at the half way point so I was happy.
Later I shall be cremating various piggy meat-based products on the barbecue and drinking beer.

    Evening gunt lovers,

Today while you were boozing and a lazing I have been grafting. Cleaning the gite for tomorrow and hacking around the overgrown veg plot, also made a frame for the strawbs in the raised bed!

    Enjoy work

Two words that don't belong in the same sentence. Feeling a little more human now although I seem to have picked up a cold at some point, bloody irritating. Nearly as irritating as my wife constantly telling me it's hayfever. I know what that feels like and it's not sodding hayfever.
Today is mostly consisting of customer avoidance. There's a light flashing on my phone and it makes an intermittent ringing noise. I think I should probably turn it off as it may be broken. We've been given a guide to bullying and harassment at work to read. I was very disappointed that it's not a how to type of guide. I think Bullying for Dummies would be more entertaining.
Could do with some cake, better go looking ...

    I am, ta :)

Not too much going down here and am just getting ready for tomorrows trip to Clogland. The minions can look after themselves for a couple of days. Also had a good pedal in, so just finished stuffing my face to offset this mornings exertions.

Bergen Op Zoom and Roosendaal, way out West. Apparently they talk funny out here but I couldn't tell the difference.

Back at Antwerp airport, possibly the most airport on Earth, about to board some crappy little twin prop Fokker that looks like it'll struggle to get airborne if the fat bastard sat next to me is getting on the same flight. Hopefully there will be some free grog on the plane.

    Hello, fokkers large and small.

It is chucking it down in The Promised Land but I am sat under a nice, dry shelter watching The Boy run around an athletics track. He doesn’t look too impressed.

Just finishing off emails etc working from home. Managed to get the car re-gassed after some moaning from Strifey so its now positively fridge-like, which she will probably moan about as well  Anyhoo, it's the weekend and I've only been in the office 1 day and totally avoided public transport :D

The kids are in a show today, I’m missing the first one whilst peddling, later is drinks in town

    Morning pubic transport avoiders,
I went on a train last night, would have been ok if it wasn’t for most of the other people on there. A few were alright.
Mild hangover this morning after watching the Bunnymen and visiting a few pubs. Today will mostly consist of pottering about. Might try to be nice to the Mrs and buy her lunch.
Lad is happy as his girlfriend gets back from her travels today. Suspect we won’t see him for a few days.

It's a Southern thing. Clarkson once said "I don't understand bus lanes: why do poor people need to get anywhere faster than I do?" :)

Busy morning of jobs and errands; will try to get some time to myself when Stropteen gets back and settles down to revise.

Evening pubic transportees and tyre choice worriers,

Foods and boozes with chums last night, foods and boozes with different chums this afternoon and even more foods and boozes tomorrow afternoon with some other chums, this young man needs a day off.
