    Af'noon, teabaggers.

After a great weekend out West it's another day in paradise in the office.
The weekend was one of the best I have had for a long, long time. Bike ride on Saturday morning before the drive to The Promised Land where vino collapso was imbibed in large volumes. Sunday morning I was a dutiful son and went to see my parents for a couple of hours before resuming drinking. Drinking continued until and throughout the birthday meal so I was a bit of a mess by the end of the evening.
Yesterday involved a little lie-in and a trip to the beach with the girl child where loafing and relaxing took place. Even the drive home yesterday afternoon was ok with none of the usual Bank Holiday traffic hold ups.

    Afternoon floaters,
Sounds like a good weekend JBA, must say I thoroughly enjoyed mine as well. Does make being at work somewhat tedious, never mind I've only got a three day week. BG will laugh and claim he doesn't work, but we all know the reality is he never gets a day off even at weekends as SWMBO finds him stuff to do.
Wobbled in to work on the Cotic this morning, might take the long way home later via a few trails. Needed to make sure it's all working properly as out for the day on it come Friday. Basically an extended pub crawl from Guildford back to Kingston along a few trails.

    Afternoon pork swords,

Good call V68, the jobs list never gets any less! Quite an epic weekend JBA!
This morning I have carried out a few jobs on the tractor, this got interrupted by some chums visiting, being a sunny hot day the beers came out, this afternoon has been quite slack.

Probably best not to use agricultural machinery when you're on the lash :)

Just finished stuffing my face with breaded chicken washed for the second time today but I've earned it as I pedalled to work. I'm nucking fackered.

Boring evening as the women have Jeremy Clarkson's 'Who wants to be a millionaire' show on the box. They've also agreed to go test drive cars when Stropteens GCSEs are finished, so game on for the new motor (well Stropteen will be test passengering).
    What’s on the list?
They've insisted on an SUV, I've insisted on fast (so 4wd probably a good idea for Stressbag); GLC is the front runner with F Pace as the dark horse.
    Amg version, Maserati?

That is ugly as sin, possibly even uglier than the Bentley SUV. Not a fan of SUVs but if I had to have one the F pace is probably the least offensive. Any of the Porsche ones would be like driving around with "I'm a c0ck" written on the side of the car.

Surely that is on any car you drive!

    Afternoon chavscum,

Been out and about today, washed the car, that definitely does not have "I'm a c0ck" written on the side of it and I'm off out for a pedal!
Leaving the bottom feeder to contend with the aftermath of introducing our four adult chickens to the six new juveniles, we have them for their eggs but i reckon we may have a couple of cocks in the new batch, which will bring it's own set of issues as they mature!

It's 63s AMG vs SVR. No point going semi-skimmed, I'd only get buyers remorse. Maser just doesn't appeal nor the 'Menoporsche' Macan.

I have a few criteria apart from speed. Such as where they would go on the Top Gear Cool Wall so it probably depends which video I prefer.

    Morning, worm food in waiting.

Today I have to complete some eLearning on the GDPR. Be still my beating heart.
It should only last for 90 minutes but I reckon I can string it out to 3 hours with enough coffee and 'comfort' breaks.

Yay, we've hit 4,000 posts of utter drivel about sweet FA :)

Busy-ish day including a meeting over in the City and much delegation to minions. I'm going home soon to d1ck around on car configurators.

Only managed a swift ten miles, got a puncture so went back on the booze.

    Evening wads of the d1ck,

Been putting up some stud walls today, would have done more this afternoon but the home made cider came out at lunch time.

I have no idea why anyone would build a wall dedicated to me :)

Good pedal to work and back so I'm knackered. Especially as I ended up racing some beardy bellend through central London this morning. Home now and there's wine in the fridge and food on the go so all is well.

    Afternoon fudds,

No Stevo walling today as needed a break! Been cleaning the small gite for guests arriving tomorrow and wondering just how much rain is going to fall, sure the rain should be over England.
Also been looking at doors online, now that's how you have fun chums!

    Standard Saturday night stuff later.

    Eh up Missing Links,

Productive day today as got a load of crap sorted out in the garage and even Strifey joined in to clear out some of her old junk. Trip to the tip is on the cards tomorrow. Just got the pond pump to clear out now then I can make a start on the cider :)

You mean if the spy cams you rigged up in the gite are working?

    Evening Mongs,

More jobs done today including a trip to the tip, hound walking and car research. Lined up some social for when I'm up North next weekend as well. Just waiting for my 4 day week to start.

I can’t help thinking if bg were to try and rig up spy cams in the fire he’d ‘accidentally’ do it wrong and broadcast pictures of his obvious to the guests instead.
Weekend of pottering has been had, also clearing the garage for the same reason as Stevo. Avoiding stressed wimminfolk. Also changed the water pump on the Mini and replaced an engine mount. Lad helped a bit but has been working in the boozer most of the weekend when not sleeping.
Not looking forward to tomorrow, after a three day week it’s going to be a long slog.
Best I have a beer then.

    Hello, chutney ferrets.
I have had a weekend of biking: road bike yesterday and MTB at FoD today. That must make me some sort of superhero - my special power being that I am crap at both.

The females of the family were away for the weekend so the male offspring and I caught up on a few TV prog's that the girls think are 'stupid' or 'pointless' and gorged on steak and chips last night.

Tomorrow is a super-early start to go to the place with the big planes. Bah!

    Evening voyeurs,

Fortunately the viewing equipment they have is not large enough to fully show my obvious and necessary!

Been doing some more "Stevo" walling today though true to type it is difficult, expensive and a bit bent! More of the same tomorrow.

    Greetings felchers,
Busy day at work trying not to kill anyone. I suppose I was successful in that respect, strangely failure may have resulted in greater job satisfaction.
Good news is the freshly fettled Mini works better than ever. Only a million and one other jobs to do on it. Plus bikes to build and various other tasks. Better have a beer then.

    Evening Gimps and stud wallers,

I am feeling my traditional knackered self after pedalling to and from work, so obviously wine will help me recover. Stropteen survived her first GCSE day without a meltdown despite a tricky exam, so that's a plus point. I'm just counting down the days to holiday.

    Good afternoon, fudge packers.

Blimmin' 'eck it's hot today. Just been for a lunchtime saunter and nearly melted in the heat. Now sitting at my desk quietly perspiring.

The Boy started his A/S exams today. Apparently this morning's "was ok and I'm quite happy with it", according to him. That means bugger all! I'll be glad when they are over so I can stop stressing.

Holiday you say, Stevo? I have time off in August but we haven't book anything yet. Better get my 'arris in gear and sort something out sharpish.

More Stevo walling today and more tomorrow, been working out how much plaster board i need, think I'll not bother and just leave the picturesque Stevo walling on show!

Foods and boozes are inbound so I'm off...

    Two holidays actually 8)

Cyprus end of next month - first one out of school holidays and not getting totally ripped off for the first time in 12 years, so we booked a week in Ciderland (Devon) with the savings :)

In other news, managed to bag some free plonk and food before headed home to chill out, assuming Stropteen didn't have a GCSE meltdown today....

You gotta be fluent Russian to visit Cyprus these days!

    Evening lamb pistols,

Stevo walling finished, plaster board in a couple of months.

Had a few drinks with the gite guests, they went in the pool this afternoon, doubt she'll ever drown!

Measuring windows tomorrow so only the two bottles of wine, gallon of cider and a few beers! What could possibly go wrong?

Well at least the hookers should be good. Although the ditches might be a bit on the dusty side. Luckily Stressbag and Stropteen are only staying for half the holiday so I'll be able to find out 8)

Second pedal this week and I'm jiggered. Long trek North tomorrow via the office so have stocked up on cds as it'll take bloody ages.

Pub pubbed followed by a bit of scoff and more beer. Much bollox was spoke.
Tomorrow morning could be hard work.
