Mild Thursday morning hangover is now fading, more coffee might help. Wobbled in on the old hack MTB and had to pass a couple of roadies, not as satisfying since the little plastic aeroplane got nicked from my handlebars. Now working hard at not working too hard, several bucks have been passed. Another cup of tea has just been delivered so things are looking up, bourbons are today's accompaniment of choice.

    Evening peepers,

Tomorrow morning could be hard work.
The EPO has tried to ban me from going to the pub the evening before Stropteen has any of her GCSE's as she doesn't want me coming back late and being noisy or something like that. This is clearly unacceptable as it would mean me getting no pub time in the week until late June, so I'll be doing a bit of 'overtime' in the office on a few nights :P

Anyway, drove into work in the rush hour traffic a good 15-20 min slower than on the bike. Better leave it until the traffic has cleared a bit until I head North otherwise I'll be a long time in the car and I only have so many Clash/ Ramones/ Pistols/ SLF CD's to keep me occupied.

Same here. My bucket of phuks is also empty so I have none to give.

    Afternoon, chocolate starfish lovers.

Major road works at an M4 junction near the office means it is taking me nearly an hour to get in to work some mornings. It's only 4 miles! If this carries on I may have to consider pedalling in.

If you have Bluetooth or aux in your car then Spotify* is the answer to that problem, Stevo. Podcasts tend to be good driving accompaniment as well. I 'stock up' on a few at a time and save them for long journeys.

*Other streaming services are available but aren't as good.

You luddite! Get with the times, man.

    It's FRIDAY! Hoorah and hoozah.

Out for burgers tonight with la famille. Beer will be making an appearance as well as SWMBO has volunteered to drive. She's a keeper, I think.

Tomorrow is menial domestic tasks - moving furniture from one room to another so new flooring can be laid.

Sunday is bike riding - doing the Wild Boar Chase in the Forest of Dean.

Electric or plumbed in? Electric is idiot proof, even I've done it so if you concentrate really hard you should manage. Plumbed in will take a bit longer but shouldn't think it's difficult if you can join bits of pipe together. just watch your back, even though you're used to being bent over, at your age you have to be careful. :P

Anyway, morning gardeners of the uphill variety.
Very glad it's fryday, I will be going to the café shortly to consume my body weight in dead pig and later is a beer festival. There will be much snoring and farting tonight so the EPO will probably have the right hump with me in the morning.

V68 - is that Kingston Beer Fest? I went a couple of years ago - debating if I should make an appearance.

Plumbed in to an air source heat pump, got a couple of "practical" people involved so I'm hoping i get relegated to humping, dumping and coffee making while they ace it! No issues with having a glass back, i am strong like bull!

Yes, should be there this evening, probably be in Endura shorts and a blue t-shirt if I don't go home to ditch the bike.

    Evening Techno-mongs :)

The aux button on my car is useless, I pressed it and nothing happened so I'll stick to CDs

Busy day 'off' running around Teeside visiting the old dear and loads of other places but at least I got tons done and am now headed off up to Durham to see an old mate mine. Unfortunately that means no drinking till I get back !

    Hello, you technonumpty.
Did you actually have anything plugged in to the AUX socket?

My head hurts. Beer festival was good fun, my mate was in rather worse shape than I. But then he did have a 3 hour head start. Don’t think I saw Chunkers if he was there, at least nobody accosted me saying we’d met on the internet.
Today will consist of holding my head and moaning whilst being nagged by the EPO. Hair of the dog may be in order when a mate comes over later.

There's no bleedin socket, just a button. Ho hum.

Long slog South this afternoon, which is a bit of a waste of a good day but at least there's some footy on the radio.

    Fnaar fnaar.........possibly.

    Evening wufters,

Been busy today but cannot remember doing anything too taxing. Heard the football was a pile'oshyte and some ginger bagged a tidy yank actress.

Just heard my nephew has just been voted England Hockey coach of the year! Awesome result.

    Anyhoo, more wine inbound.
