Yep, we're already starting to see the "moral victory for Trumpism" articles in the Torygraph.

I'll be glad when he's gone, and it does look like he will, but the real issues - the sheer lunacy of political culture in the US, and why so many people are so keen to vote, against their own interests, for an entitled failure of a self-regarding moron - how will they go away?

It will only change when the more sensible politicians genuinely start to understand why people vote the way they do. That will in turn require them to swallow large doses of humble pie.

You will not like this but it will only change when the libs admit that a lot of the electorate are idiots and target them accordingly with ridiculous promises and endlessly repeating three word slogans.

The worse thing about this is that nothing that has happened will suggest to Boris that he needs to moderate his behaviour.

They haven't declared Trump gaga yet, that's in spite of plenty of evidence. Reagan wasn't declared gaga and he certainly seemed to be losing it at the end of his presidency.
What would be so bad about president Harris?

Would we notice the difference from last week? 😉
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Bad? I made no comment on her suitability. She is likely no more capable / incapable than Trump or Biden. Mind you, the Democrats thought her less capable this time round and she was perhaps being groomed for 2024
Yep, Ronnie did exhibit signs of Alzheimer's towards the end, but Biden seems to have a head start. Every gaffe or slip will be pounced on.

Biden isn't a scarry as Harris is. Biden has been in public office for 47 years and hasn't done nuthin'. Harris f**ked her way to the top.

You sayin' Harris has done more work to earn it? Or, using double negatives, Biden has done absolutely everything? Deserves a win then.

The shock is because although the VP is on the ticket, nobody expects them to actually have to do the job. Look back at some of the nominees, they are shocking.
Gerry Ford and the US electorate never expected him to actually have to do the job.

As regards Harris, there are plenty of vids on Youtube of her making an ar5e of herself in committee but that doesn't make her unique in Washington.

This is a cracker. I believe the senator concerned lost his seat next election after this performance..

It boils down to people in the US hating the cultural left so much they will put up with just the most inept leadership and corruption to avoid it.

That and a thick heavy streak of old fashioned nationalism which is resurgent everywhere.

Detroit has really turned Michigan for Biden. So much that the Republicans are trying to file a lawsuit to halt counting.

No one likes a sore loser.
