Trump is either telling porkies or has just admitted he was still making deals with Russia when he shouldn't have been.
Which begs the question did the acting AG Whittaker pass on what Cohen had said to Trump, would that be illegal?

    No.

so, orange khunt's ("OK" in legalise) answers match cohen's who has admitted that he is/has lied.

OK's legal team wrote the answers based on OK's statements.

so, cohen lied, OK lied, the legal team - headed by Giuliani therefore lied.

so they should all be prosecuted, no?

and Malaria is a horrible racist gold digger.

Is Putin quietly re-orchestrating power? Are the Saudi's looking perhaps to Russia for arms in the light of growing Western Antipathy towards the Yemeni conflict, coupled with state appropriated murder? Germany has cancelled Arms contracts to Saudi.
Trump is weak and probably on the end of one of Putin's strings. In the absence of direction, leadership and conviction, power is shifting away from the US.

It is a legal term to differentiate what the person did (which might not all be a crime) from the crime itself.- which is a legal concept. It is an abbreviation of 'actus reus' - literally the crime thing.

But your analysis is helpful to simpletons - and let me ask if you picked up my play on your derision? Maybe not.

Let me tell you about the Russians. They are different from you and me. We have to recognise that Russia is never going to be Westernised, they will always be paranoid about us just as we are paranoid about them. Years ago I used to suggest this was how it was and I was told I was wrong.

When the USSR collapsed we thought we had done Russia a favour - welcome to our world - but the Russians don't live in our world and believed collectively we had not done them a favour, we had increased their vulnerability.

Another time we thought they were our friends was in 1945 and look how that fell apart. They are different.

    That would be interesting.

As Churchill said "Russia is a puzzle wrapped up in an enigma".

Russia's mistrust goes a long way back. In fact, it goes back in part to the Mongol's who sacked the Steppes.
Napoleon had a go, Adolf had a go and in that process they lost an estimated 27 million people.
Post war Russia saw the Korean conflict and then under the reds under the beds McCarthy era, Russia was labelled all sorts of things on the spectrum of evil... meanwhile the cold war slowly escalates...
It's little wonder that the common thread is their everlasting and continuous mistrust.

Eventually the Berlin wall comes down, Gorbachev is in control of a nation on it's financial knees.

    https://www.nytimes.com/1989/04/09/maga ... ussia.html

Western Europe had a unique opportunity to assist Gorbachev in Harvesting successive Wheat growth that couldn't be fully Harvested partly because of a lack of machinery. Perhaps that assistance could have been the start of a more positive relationship with the West. It was not long after that when Russia started reverting to type. The the food queues and the poverty was squared firmly at the West and Gorbachev was not seen as the man who brought the end of the cold war like we perceived him.

So Tsarist Russia was replaced by Communism and roughly a century later , Communism, has been replaced with ostensibly... a Tsarist Russia. They have reverted to type.

We were shown a Russian map- one with Russia at the centre - and asked how would we feel surrounded by hostile nuclear powers. Point made and taken. Yes of course but the West did it wrong then; there and elsewhere. A missed opportunity that we will regret.

The middle east is trending to Russia away from the West because it knows where it stands with with them. The west offers no consistency with the ME except for Israel.

I've been in airports today and have had only limited access to unrestricted press. But I did discover from the Daily Mail which I'm fairly sure a select group of you consider the authority on everything, that Lady Trump designed the Christmas Tree displays in the White House.

This PROVES that she, and by association President Trump, are close to God.

Nope - no Wetherspoons in Zhongshan nor access to Google of course - as it is in China - and my VPN gets blocked after 10 mins. I've never been to Wetherspoons but your allusion of its clientele co-incides with mine having driven past the one in town at different times of day and witnessing the fat smokers doing their thing.

    Haha, Eric Trump tweets
“Of all the ugliness in politics, the utter disrespect George Conway shows toward his wife, her career, place of work, and everything she has fought SO hard to achieve, might top them all,” Eric Trump wrote on Twitter.
Kellyanne Conway is a “great person,” he added, and her husband’s actions “are horrible.”

Kellyanne's husband George retweeted a reply
Wait. Did I miss something? Did George Conway pay money to have sex with a porn star right after his wife gave birth?

It'll be interesting to see if Trump references Mike Flynn in Twitterrage this morning. He's off to a good start by conducting trade negotiations with Chine by Twitter...

But, if he gets on to Flynn, will Flynn be a strong man brought to his knees by a phony witch hunt, or a weak coffee boy whom he hardly knew...?

Took a plea deal to keep his son safe and has now been recommended for no jail time.

Still nothing about Flynn. And from the way previous tweets were written, I'm wondering if an adult has taken his phone away and is tweeting for him... Trump isn't the sort of person to stop at petty insults and vengeance just because it might add to the long list of crimes he's already committed.

Probably something to do with the witness tampering he committed a few days ago.

Flynn wasn't willing to be brought to his knees by Trump with an uncertain promise of a pardon should he lie to or withhold from Mueller.

That's what will really rile Trump. Mueller has proved a better deal maker and sent a clear signal that he's willing to give a better offer than Trump to those who testify.

Trump is left supporting mobsters (by his own definition of pleading the Fifth) like Stone, which again strengthens Mueller's hand as his tweets could be seen as witness tampering.
