When asked what he was most thankful for this thanksgiving day, he said “me... I’ve done an awful lot for this country “
His vainglorious, delusional proclamations remind me of Nicolae Ceaușescu. It'd be a shame if he went the same way.

Well yes, I think orange would suit him better. It's all part of the reality thing too.

I think a court case where he's tried for his crimes would make good reality tv with him screaming wildly protesting his innocence, insisting he still has absolute authority and that no court can try him yet being found guilty, and a swift bullet to the back of the head would be rather ironic.

According to The Guardian, Manafort and Assange met a three times in London prior to Manafort joining Trump Campaign. Wikileaks want to bet the Guardian £1m saying the story is untrue, A snake oil salesman like Manafort would only get a place at Trumps top table if he could supply the dirt/leaks he promised, he'd be of no use otherwise he met with Assange and used Wikileaks to do the release the Pedestal emails the Russiasn hacked. Assange probably thinking Trump will drop all extradition charges for helping in this. That's all gone belly up for him fortunately. The rope is tightening.

Sounds like Mueller waited until after he had the answers from Trump before announcing that he knew Manafort was lying. So if Manafort and Trump were working together to have consistent answers, that might not be ideal for Trump.

I must say though, Trump really doesn't know how to sound like he isn't guilty. "Why aren't the feds concentrating on the many people in my campaign who weren't doing illegal things?" isn't a great line. "Why aren't the people investigating me for this crime also investigating someone else who I think did a different crime?" also not great.

His interview with the WoPo yesterday was just as bizarre
    on Russian aggression
“I don’t like that aggression,” he said. “I don’t want that aggression at all. Absolutely. And by the way, Europe shouldn’t like that aggression. And Germany shouldn’t like that aggression.”
    on climate change
“One of the problems that a lot of people like myself, we have very high levels of intelligence but we’re not necessarily such believers,” Trump said. “You look at our air and our water, and it’s right now at a record clean.”
    on murdering barstewards
“Maybe he did and maybe he didn’t,” Trump said. “But he denies it. And people around him deny it. And the CIA did not say affirmatively he did it, either, by the way. I’m not saying that they’re saying he didn’t do it, but they didn’t say it affirmatively.”
on the height of his appointment as head of the Fed
The president also appeared hung up on Yellen’s height. He told aides on the National Economic Council on several occasions that the 5-foot-3-inch economist was not tall enough to lead the central bank, quizzing them on whether they agreed, current and former officials said.

I like the way MSNBC refused/declined to cover the WH press conference last night, shame the other broadcasters didn't do the same. Acosta looked like he Chuckabee gripping his man bits in case he overstepped when he asked a question.

Apparently Cohen said they 'Cohen, Trump and others' were negotiating with Russia to build a Trump Tower in Moscow in 2017 even though Trump said emphatically that he had no dealings with Russia during his campaign.

A blinder of a move by Mueller. Waited for Trump's written responses then squeezes Cohen.

It shows how completely dumb and incompetent a liar Trump is.

And talking of lying, I see he's threatening Dems with incriminating evidence should they investigate him. Yeah sure, we've seen this move numerous times and it inevitably amounts to nothing. He'd be a terrible poker player.

Cohen, who told the investigators that the plans had been scrapped in early 2016, admitted Thursday that negotiations had in fact continued through June that year.

Didn't he say in an interview not long ago "I'm not a gambling man" - the interviewer said "You ran casinos".

    A brewery owner who can't arrange a p1ss up?

The Dems should take Mueller as their role model - just take it nice and steady. Like playing a Fish.

Various bank raids and arrests, his Chicago Tax lawyers' offices raided by the FBI, Cohen, admissions, his latest lifetime judge nomination heading for the rocks... all on one day... the next Trump tweetstorm is going to be interesting.Oh, and Comey has filed to overturn the subpoena for him to testify behind closed doors for one of the Senate committees, being very blunt for the reasons why.

It's a bit of a crazy show over there, at the moment.

Going by his latest tweets, he has been busy reading a lot of fiction recently.
Might be interesting to know the contents rather than just the titles though. #theysupportme
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I'm guessing he doesn't bother to read the replies to his tweets (assuming he can read), or have them read out to him - there would be an awful lot of scrolling to get just one person not ripping him to pieces. I suspect there will be quite a lot of angry tweeting while he's in Argentina, as he's cancelled most of his meetings, including the one with Putin, which the Russians aren't at all happy about, it seems.

It's now clear that Trump and his advisers have been lying about their contacts with top level Russians before and at the beginning of his term of office as POTUS.

The Russians will have all the evidence they need to demonstrate that the POTUS has lied and if Trump steps out of line they can expose him unequivocally. They have not done so. How deep and wide are Russian links to the GOP?

It seems increasingly likely that there is more to the story than just Trump.

Trump comes out calling Cohen a weak liar.

Rudy comes out and says the Trump's written answer reply to Mueller matches what Cohen admitted in court.

Trump is either telling porkies or has just admitted he was still making deals with Russia when he shouldn't have been.

Which begs the question did the acting AG Whittaker pass on what Cohen had said to Trump, would that be illegal?
