  • Was that abomination done by the same dude who did the Dotard in a boat picture?

Don't think so - there is an equivalent with the Democrat presidents. Barack, JFK and Bill enjoying a drink together.

In both, there is the same woman in the background walking towards them, apparently representing the first female president.

Don't call him Ye - it's just feeding the ego. Use his real name 'W4nker West' or WW if you want to be down with the kids!

Suddenly realised that West reminded me of a rather undisciplined pet dog.

Then I thought 'Does Trump have any other pet creature?'

    Have a guess.

President Donald Trump liked a painting of him having drinks with Abraham Lincoln, Richard Nixon and Teddy Roosevelt so much that he called the artist on the phone and then put a print of it in the White House.
Called “The Republican Club,” the print of 10 Republican presidents sitting around a table could be seen briefly in the background of Trump’s interview with “60 Minutes” Sunday, and an image of that moment went viral on social media.

More about Ghengis Khunt here, closer to home..*:

Scotland: thousands object to Trump housing estate plans
A record number of people have objected to plans by the Trump Organization to build a large new housing estate near the US president’s golf course north of Aberdeen.

More than 3,000 people have submitted formal objections to the plans, with another 19,000 people signing an online petition protesting against the scheme to build 550 private homes and golfers’ chalets on farmland beside the course.

Officials in Aberdeenshire council are now sifting through 3,026 letters of objection sent by the 38 Degrees campaign website before the public consultation period ended last week.
    ..
It contrasts strongly to the public responses in 2007 when a majority were in favour of Trump’s plan for a £750m resort featuring a 450-bed five-star hotel, timeshare flats and shops. It was a stark illustration of how public opinion had turned against him, Ford said.

“In 2007, association with Mr Trump’s celebrity status and the perceived popularity of his resort proposal were seen as powerful political arguments for overturning planning policy and granting planning permission,” Ford said.

“Now Mr Trump has the reputation of an international pariah, and his proposed housing scheme is evidently unpopular – hardly reasons to extend special treatment to his planning application this time.”

An example of Trumps tactics here:

Turkish condemnation over this is a bit rich all things considered; there is much more in play here than the death of a journalist.

    Quote from Guardian -
Forensics expert Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy is reportedly heard putting on headphones to listen to music as he begins to dismember the body, and encouraging other people in the room to do the same.

According to Middle East Eye, Khashoggi was dragged from the office to Otaibi’s study next door, where Tubaigy began cutting up his body on a table while he was still alive.

Pompeo met Erdoğan and the foreign minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, within the confines of Ankara’s Esenboga airport on Wednesday morning, a day after the Turkish president had said police had found freshly painted walls and “toxic” substances during a search of the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, where Khashoggi was last seen alive two weeks ago.

Yep, can't argue with Trumpy - definitely sounds like "rogue killers". Sound judgement by the Orange one once again.

from a purely professional mission planning point of view, they went in a bit mob handed for this one. Not exactly subtle....

Is there a risk of any action pushing up the price of petrol? Best to limit any action to a bit of hand wringing and mild disapproval so as not to upset any voters. All whilst accusing JC of colluding with terrorists.

Yup it's just a matter of which terrorists you collude with, obviously some terrorists are more terrible than others :(

Given the reports coming out of the USA that the Saudis transferred $100b on the day of Pompeo’s vist, It’s fairly safe to say the Saudis own the US under the Dump admin.

don't be daft - that would place the arms contracts under threat. and bear in mind that most of the 65,721 Saudi princes there are went to RMAS they have quite a good inside line in the british governing classes anyway.

also, bear in mind the amount of this sort of they stuff they do on behalf of HMG .....

    bugger all will happen.

  • So is that a bung or a middle east state supporting US efforts to stabilise a country? If we gave them money to do that would it also class as a bung?

It seems you can read what you want into it. Bung or not it's up to your politics.

For what it's worth many countries pay into the UN for similar activities. Whether you think it's more effective to give such money to the UN or the USA to stabilise a war torn nation or you think it's all just corruption is up to you.

PS the article says it's the Saudis fulfilling a previous commitment for the money.
