So, it's completely clear that these have been sent to critics of Trump. It is also clear that trump has whipped up bad sentiment from his followers towards these critics.

Trump is in a unique position to ask these supporters to calm down, condemn all this, to tell them they are doing wrong, to disassociate himself from them. Instead, he criticises the media again, fuelling the fire more.
I imagine it won't be long before he goes off script and starts peddling the right-wing lies about it being the left sending fake bombs to their own to make him look bad because it has to be all about him.

At the most basic human level he should be appaled at the threat to life of fellow Americans by domestic terrorism but he lacks the most basic level of humanity.

I think he sees it as a means to reduce opposition and silence his critics

Stop blaming others. Look in the mirror. Your inflammatory rhetoric, insults, lies, & encouragement of physical violence are disgraceful. Clean up your act....try to act Presidential. The American people deserve much better. BTW, your critics will not be intimidated into silence.

    He's the MAGAbomber.
the person suspected of mailing bombs to various figures Donald Trump has described as enemy threats is in fact a Trump-supporting Republican

To prevent further violent attempts on Trump's opponents plans are underway to place the POTUS in a TCV.

    Facebook? No. Just say no.
  • Well an eye for an eye is in the religious scriptures of Judaism as well as Christianity so why not have guns in synagogues? Makes sense to me. More guns, more dead, some of which will be bad guys. More bad guys taken out the better.

Guns don't kill people, rabbits do! GLC.

Best thing they did was give away a Vauxhall cavalier painted in Burberry check; it was called the Chavalier. I think Burberry tried to sue iirc.

Can't find the pic but someone once did a Golden Labrador out in Burberry check and called it a Chavrador.

after a week of terror attacks in the US, two of Dumps press conference statements stand out
“this ‘Bomb’ stuff’ has greatly slowed the “momentum” of Republican candidates in early voting in the midterm elections.
"I was standing under the wing of Air Force One doing a news conference earlier this morning, a very unfortunate news conference, and the wind was blowing and the rain and I was soaking wet and that's what I ended up with today,"
compared to Obamas statement after the Orlando shooting
"Today marks the most deadly shooting in American history. The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle. This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub. And we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well."
All lies and jest..still a man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest....
  • But the president got wet! That's totally wrong. Things need to change.

Anyone see the clip of him trying to get onto airforce one with an umbrella? A few attempts trying to pull out through then he just dropped it and left it on the top step. Someone should show him how to close an umbrella. I know he's used to other holding one for him but it's a skill young children work out for themselves pretty quickly.

    Is he a moron?
  • The response from the progressive Jewish organisation Bend the Arc sums it up best;
“President Trump, you are not welcome in Pittsburgh until you fully denounce white nationalism.”.

“For the past three years, your words and your policies have emboldened a growing white nationalist movement. You yourself called the murderer evil, but yesterday’s violence is the direct culmination of your influence.”.

Trump’s rhetoric had, “deliberately undermined the safety of people of color, Muslims, LGBTQ people and people with disabilities.".

“Stop targeting and endangering all minorities,” “cease your assault on immigrants and refugees” and “commit yourself to compassionate, democratic policies that recognize the dignity of all of us.”

No doubt it will fall on deaf ears.

I thought the answer to that was established some time ago.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Same could be said over here. Unfortunately.

  • Did you read about the Northern island ku klux klan meet outside an Islamic centre? Well idiots dressed up in sheets and kkk hats running around a dodgy part of town and the centre that's there. That's after a previous incident with a pigs head being left there.

Seems there's idiots with a racist tendency over this side of the pond too.

Sarah Sanders can't name a single 'fake news' outlet
The little secret of Trump's "fake news" attack is that he doesn't hate the media at all. He LOVES the media. He cares deeply about what they say and write about him. He likes to banter with reporters. He consumes more media -- primarily by watching cable TV -- than any president ever. And it's not close.
All of Trump's attacks on "fake news" and his labeling of the media as the "enemy of the people" are purely a political strategy. The President knows his base hates and distrusts the media. What better way to motivate them eight days before the midterm election than to cast the media as the real bad guy at the root of the violent rhetoric and actions we have seen over the past week?

What is interesting is that in the USA the situation for so many has deteriorated to a point where they can be united in hatred of a media that represented the status quo. A point that Trump recognised and and his rivals overlooked. That's not to praise Trump but rather to show the effects of years of 'Reaganonomics' where the obeisance to the forces of the market transcended any social conscience. Bizarrely Trump has also managed to suggest that those who need societies help are the lowest of the low. The 'American Dream', to make it and to hell with anyone else, reigns supreme under Trump.

Denmark consistently ranks among the world's happiest countries, but the Nordic nation is less than pleased with how it's being portrayed in Washington. The White House Council of Economic Advisers highlighted the Scandinavian nation in a recent report called "The opportunity costs of Socialism."
  • That's really funny. USAnians are better off than the Danes. Show anyone in the projects what the equivalent place in Denmark is like then ask the if they'd prefer to their projects to be like they are or like Denmark's version. I wonder.

Jeez! Are Americans so jingoistically stupid to actually believe that rubbish?
  • Not all smiles are rainbows in denmark, though.
