    Ta!

Forgot, also Michelin Power Comp 25c tyres (which I bought!)

And some Fulcrum Racing Quattro (ditto)

Arrrrrgggggghhhhh, they don't make the endurance tyres in yellow any more

The Michelin Power are might impressive mind. Though it's hard to guess how effective given I've put the Quattro on as well.

While I didn't match my recent fast commute home I was marginally slower with the new tyres/wheels. That was despite feeling like utter crap and not caning it. The overall effect was that higher speeds were harder to maintain for longer. When I feel a bit better I'm going to cane it and see if I can beat my best. Much of that is traffic dependent mind.

No probs - photos were the problem, I don't have a manequin (or a black and white hipster) to photograph the kit on... ;)

Stop it! Since you started your site, I have a see sense rear light, new dhb baselayers, new dhb aeron mitts, chapeau top and tights bundle, a couple of torm jerseys and a second alpha jersey. I now want some chapeau bibs and a jersey. My wallet hurts.

Any plans to test some Galibier kit?

They are pretty top notch imho, all be it limited in colour options.

how is this thread name so long?

when some of the old skool commuting thread names need correcting

    i blame wiggle
Rule #5 // Harden The Feck Up.
Rule #9 // If you are out riding in bad weather, it means you are a badass. Period.
Rule #12 // The correct number of bikes to own is n+1.
Rule #42 // A bike race shall never be preceded with a swim and/or followed by a run.

ddraver. does a largish phone fit in the zip pocket of the core jersey?

how does the cut compare to pro team jersey?

I like the look of the Aeron range so ordered the Speed shorts and jersey, both size medium. After a quick try-on the shorts seem excellent but the jersey is too short in the body. Maybe its supposed to be like that, but to me they've made a mistake with the sizing. This is compared to something like the Rapha Pro Team jersey, also a medium. I'm undecided about trying a large.

The coordinated jersey and short colours are nice but as the jersey has to go back, probably the shorts should go too.

It's one of those new fangled things. I wore mine today and, yes, it is short in the body. Fine for me but maybe doesn't cater for the taller person. Do try it on the bike mind, there are some jerseys that may even have a gap between shorts and top that settle down when on the bike.

Oddly enough, with the shorts, the opposite is perhaps true. The legs on those are longer than the norm, if the norm is the Assos Mille regular. Again, wore mine this morning.

I think it's quite difficult to make sure that everything fits everyone, I've been quite lucky so far, the only slight oddity being the Prendas Sleek jersey whose sleeves are at least 1 inch too long (on me). It's important that clothing feels good and doesn't make you think about it so if it's not right just send it back. There's plenty of good stuff out there to choose from.

I need a Large top in Rapha, but Extra Large from dhb. The Wiggle sizing page is very good, but you do need a tape measure to get an accurate fit..

I've asked if they'll send me one but I can see some issues. There's no seam taping, that's fine and actually better.

The trick in this case is to avoid having seams on the front. Now, you have to have some but the Mossa, for example, has the single seam where the body joins the arms. This one has one across the chest, on where the arm joins the body and a third on the shoulder. Will be interesting to see how that goes.

Thing is though, whatever you compare it against, it's really really well priced.

I assume they saw my thoughts on a rain/wind-proof jersey to go with the arm warmers and here it is :) Look forward to the review if you get one.
