I'll be there for stage 1 proper, at the finish.
Won't be wearing dodgy trousers like that dweeb though0 -
9 flat stages, 3 hilly stages, 7 mountain stages including 5 summit finishes
1 individual time trial, 1 team time trial, 2 days of snooze.

Stages 18-21 for me. No dodgy trousers, lycra for stages 18-20, probably normal shorts for 21.0 -

Getting closer now I can smell it...
It's OK for all you Eurosport types... you don't know how painful it is waiting for a decent tour... tick tock nearly there...

Don't know if it counts as a decent tour in your book, but the Dauphine is on ITV4 this week. Live and highlights0 -

For the slow reading group (those with les than 37,000 posts): I got the Bernabino trousers reference but what's the significance of the first pic?
Or is that simply something Utrecht is famous for and not just a forum in-joke?Giant Trance X 2010

I didnt get the second one, but assumed the first picture was due to stereotypes of the Netherlands.Scott Addict 2011

I'll be in Paris for the finish. Part of my plan of seeing the last stage of each GT in one year.
Yet Adam Hanson gets all the kudos.....“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

Your doing stages 18-21?
Nope. 18, 19 and 20 are in the same area. So staying locally and watching the stages. I'll be riding out to wherever we watch (up a climb somewhere) hence why I'll be in lycra. We'll watch the start of stage 20 or an early climb then make a mad dash (sounds like dish_dash will too) to get to Paris to watch the final stage.0 -

yip... should be fun. But just keep in mind what the roadsign where I grew up said: "Dashing means Danger"0 -
