So the markets seem to think this is the first of many. Does anyone understand the constitutional basis that would allow Scotland to re-rerun their independence referendum and if they did, would that nullify this one?

Well to keep a foot in the eu and my options open, i have the forms for dual citizenship witn malta. I have maltese parents so i can assuming i get all the evidence together. Anyone who knows me will kmow paperwork is a weakness.

The main problem with we want our country back is i feel it has been taken away from me. Poltics has failed over the last 30 years and i dont see how boris as pm and exiting the eu will change that. Poltics is now going to fail everyone not just 50% of the population which was bad enough.

I suspect the maltese embassy got a few of these emails today. I feel a bit disjointed today maybe that feeling will go away or get worse, just depends on what we all do next.

I do think a general election is needed though even if the result is another wrecking ball. Now wrecking ball has been swung it might as well swing some more. Out of the wreckage some heads need to roll and new parties need to form. The problem is we wont get that and thats why an hedging my bets.it will interesting but unwelcome to see what will happen now. My worry now is scotland going its own way. The snp are already have a narritive. The snp may not win this or go for it. Is loosing scotland acceptable to leave voters as a price worth paying?

72% turnout is low. What were those 28% doing. Everything is in the air now and i dont like that.

I believe they had a "material change" clause in their manifesto which they want to invoke. They need to win a vote at Westminster to get it.

Do you mean if we all keep quiet the EU will forget all about the vote and we can just carry on as normal?

This ain't over. The knuckle dragger 'Spooners may have swallowed the BS for now, but the intelligent 'hard working' productive segment of the population are well pixxed off. Given who actually contributes the tax revenues to support said 'Spooners, no the game ain't over.

    We could start a petition:

"Nigel Farage should refund all expenses paid to him by the European Commission" I only need 5 email addresses to kick it off. If you are interested and live in the UK, PM me.

Now there's a thought. If Scotland votes for independence, technically they will be foreigners :P

You no doubt will. Your own unemployed are too busy being victims of "foreigners, coming over 'ere, blah blah blah"

The only silver lining to this massive fucking mess is that, in a years time, I'll be able to hold my head high regardless of the situation we find ourselves in.

For me, the real crime is driving divides through Europe and the UK. My girlfriend - an EU migrant - is gutted and no longer feels welcome anywhere but London. She won't be the only EU migrant who feels this way.

But I doubt you give a f*** about that, if you voted to Leave. And if you do give a f*** about it - and it doesn't sit all that we'll - then maybe you should've voted in a more considered way.

People who voted to Leave - some friends - are changed forever in my eyes. I don't think I can reconcile at all in some cases.

Massive skills shortage of software developers in Devon - admittedly as most want to earn higher wages elsewhere. If we're still going to selectively allow migration where the skills are required then exactly what sort of shit jobs are we leaving for the disenfranchised 'natives' ?
