Owain Doull has joined a world tour team for 2017. It doesn't say who but you'd assume sky. Although the cycling news article says that it came together after the tour of Britain so maybe its someone who didn't really know him before then. I hope its Greenedge tbh.

Team Wiggins look set for another interesting year. Scott Davies, Chris Latham, Dan Pearson, James Knox, Sam Harrison, all more than decent signings. Proper development squad for Brits, that. More new signings still be to announced including one big surprise...0 -

Dynamo Cover (formerly We are Wales) is shaping up to be a nice project too. 3 more signings to be announced.
They're also racing on an Irish license, as BC wanted them to have at least 9 UK riders to race on a British license.0 -

One word - tax. Employment taxes in France aren't favourable for a cycling team.Why don't they just have a french licence if based in Brittany, that would mean they could then do more high level amateur races in France

And aside from him and pantomime villain Valverde they don't really have big stars - just a lot of riders who can get involved in the action (a bit like Sky in that respect - in fact I would suggest that they are team that copied Sky the most)Good move. I know why. But I still wish the English language media would cover the non-Anglo side of cycling much more. It would make our collective understanding of the sport so much richer. There are some that do, Matt being one of them.0 -
Presumably it's the specific Columbian link Rendell has, rather than his research into late '90s doping, or his doorstepping of late '90s cyclists.

Being a fan of the late Real Pelton podcast, and the ITV TdF podcast I asked (via Twitter) Messrs Rendell, Boardman & Boulting if this was the end of the TdF podcast. The response this morning would suggest it is. That's a shame as despite the running in jokes I did like it.0

One of the things about the ITV Tour podcasts I've always enjoyed the most is Matt's ability to run through the key points of the stage, move by move, from start to finish. It always made you relive the stage. No other podcast, no other presenter, has been able to come anywhere near matching Matt's skills in that respect.0 -
