Strange one that. I don't think I was alone in thinking neither is heart nor head were in it any more then, boom, signs for one of the biggest teams in the world. Maybe the pressure of being N°1 was too much and he'd prefer to be a domestique. This will be a great story if they manage to get him back on the rails.0 -

Maybe he just didn't want to be at AG2R next year as he had a better offer, and Movistar have offered the same training terms as Quintana.
To be honest if I was Unzue then I would have offered a pay-per-race deal, or at least a low basic and high bonus.0 -
Yup. The pertinent question is that of salary. If he's cheap, which he probably is, then taking a punt that he will settle better in a Spanish speaking team with a fellow Colombian is a no brainer.
