Burnley and Ipswich for us next ! Not quite as easy...next one is a true 6 pointer.

    Yep that'll be mad.

I'm hoping one way or another everything is sorted before our trip to The Riverside, I don't think I could cope otherwise.

Irrespective of how it all ends for a team that back in August we all said 'mid table and I'd take top 10 right now', we haven't done to bad!

Not sure I'll have any nails left by next month. Although if we can get one over Burnley next week that will be massive (and do you lot a favour)

Mind you, whoever goes up will have a tough time next season...

On a level I agree, although that's only because I think the Premier League will return to the customary safe mark of 40 points.
With at least 2 perennial deadwood teams being relegated this year it'll be a little tougher, but hey that's still a long way off.

What an amazing season. One game at a time. Stevo if you lose to Bumley, the last game might be a winner-goes-up. Do yourselves the favour first!

The cream is at the top. The recent games show that. Who's gonna be the bridesmaid?

Yup, Burnley is a must not lose game. In Aitor we trust...

    Well, you didn't lose Steveo.

Its mad. We could win the league or funk up in the play offs (again). Let's hope Preston inflict some pain on Friday.

I don't think anyone saw you not beating Ipswich. Let's hope we win our next games and Bumley lose theirs. A draw between us will then be fine.

Wish it were so but I reckon the last day of the season may be a must win job.

You just need to get a result against us at The Riverside

Boro's draw doesn't change the 'winner goes up' out of the Boro BHA game. IF we beat Derby, Boro's draw means that the draw would benefit BHA in place of Boro. Hopefully Bumley will crumble in their next 2 games.

True, like I said above. Unfortunately Burnley are unlikely to collapse based on recent form...

And to make it more of a challenge, we've lost one of our starting CBs. Great.

Yep, listened to the whole game on the radio in the car this afternoon. Sounded like it was just a case of when Brighton went ahead, but sometimes the luck is with you.

Game on for Saturday as you lot have to go for it.

It was the ultimate 'game of 2 halves'.

The one thing about 2016, over and above everything else, has been the obvious team spirit within the squad.
I know that sounds a little trite but in 40 years of watching it's hard to think of any other time when watching such a 'unit' of players.

Today, in hindsight, that spirit was hanging by a thread in the first half, and completely snapped at half time.
They played like 11 strangers having a kick about, and believe me, with last season in mind, we know exactly what that looks like!

In the context of the game & season, our goal today is completely meaningless.
But if it galvanizes the squad back to where they were just 1 game previous, it could be worth it's weight in gold.

    You might need it.

The Boro are unbeaten in their last 8 home games, kept 15 clean sheets at home and conceded 7 goals at The Riverside this season.

No interweb connection SSS? You might be able to get it on one of those ropey streaming sites.

Going to have a try. Half this project is from Teesside so I imagine someone will have it on.

Bad luck you seagulls - at least you get another bite of the cherry. In the meantime, here's a song from Boro to Brighton

Longest 8 minutes I have had to suffer through at the end. I didn't see the tackle as I am working in sunny Kabul and just got back to the TV with 5 minutes left. More relief than elation this time around. I don't think I could go through the playoff lottery again.

Congratulations Boro. It'll be interesting to see how your squad changes with a few quid available.

I hear we are appealing that red. He was our man of the match, ignoring the goal, so we could do with him in the play offs.

Cheers MG. Not seen the match, just heard bits on the radio in the car. If performance is anything to go by this season, the play-off will between you lot and Hull.

@ Maglia Rosa - Yep, how many minutes of added time??
