Well that was a load of crap. Looks like we'll just have to concentrate on getting the double this season

Well, seen as you don't rate the FA cup and seen as the league cup is inferior, what 'double'? More like 1 cup and a quarter.

Pants. Absolute pants. Worse than Arsenal's performance against Monaco. :D

To the tune of that Bay City Rollers song 'Bye bye Chelsea, Chelsea goodbye...'

I know there's probably no way back for Arsenal but one can dream.

    Odds on Bayern Munich
    2-1 Barca
    3-1 RM

    Methinks.

'Double' the number of trophies you're likely to win this season

Pity they don't dish out trophies for coming third or fourth, as then the Arsenal trophy cabinet would be stuffed full :D

The bottom line Stevo is that the blue's are shyte on a continental level this season. Doesn't speak that much of the over rated Premiership when the top team at the moment were knocked out in the last 16.

We had one bad game in the CL - the last one. Looking forward Arsenal setting the world in fire in the away leg at Monaco

Is it just me, or does anyone think it's a bit unfair that away goals still count in extra time? Surely this gives an unfair advantage to the team drawn away in the second leg by giving them an extra 30 minutes to score an away goal (or more than the other team in the first leg). Or am I missing something?

Watched the game last night. Chelsea reminded me of the 4rse. Trying to walk the ball into the net. Jose has turned all the flair players into defensive drones (Willian, Oscar, and even Costa looks a shadow of his early season). Reap what you sow. The Cherries would have put on a more convincing performance to win that game.
Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.

But the reason away goals count for more is that it is meant to be harder to win away so you could argue it is unfair to play extra time at all because the home team has longer to win at home.

Both right, though I'd never use CB's point as an excuse for last night's performance. At least I didn't what one lad in my office did and pay £300 to go and see it...

Although on a lighter note, did anyone see the pics of Boris Becker? Some wag had given him a Chelsea Headhunters' scarf. Very naughty :D

I like the way the PSG fan had removed his shirt but kept his gloves on!

Clarkson was there too, maybe looking for some work on Chelsea TV?

Now there's a good suggestion for 'Star in a reasonably priced car' when TG is reincarnated. Now I know Jezza is a Chelski fan he has just gone up in my estimations. Let's hope he gets another chance to rile millions of lefties, PC knobbers and tree huggers

Good point. Except he did live in the IoM most probably for tax reasons, which I am sure means that Stevo has a picture of him up on the wall.

No speed limit was probably the icing on the cake.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

I can see why he riles you Pinno, as you fit at least 2 out of 3 of my categories above

He spent a long time fighting with the ramblers club in the IoM when he drove off road and ruined/blocked the paths.

    Yeah, tree hugger me Stevo.

It was a good effort from the Gunners. I was a bag of nerves.

    Ho hum. Never mind.

Barca to grind Pullagreeny and his men into the ground tomorrow.

Another one bites the dust on away goals.

England's footballing honour now rests in the hands of a team that couldn't stick one past Burnley last weekend and now has to beat Barcelona and score at least twice at the Nou Camp...

Don't need sympathy - won it once already and we know we'll get another go next year. Unlike some teams I could mention
