Yes, I was starting to think that (ok, the devil inside hoped for a few secs that Cav would be injured enough to miss the TdF ... think of the uproar).
That did go through my mine that cav might be injured for the tdf as it was quite a tubule he took, and was gutted i so want him to win the first stage and be in the yellow jersey,0 -
Robert Hatch @robhatchtv 33s
Matt Goss & Niki Terpstra are non starters today for #TdSuisse Stage 6. Kenny De Haes & Ben Swift have abandoned during stage so far.

What a come down after the Dauphine.0
-
Well we haven't got to the GC stages yet. The action should be Friday, Saturday, Sunday.0
-
Yeh hopefully, and there are riders still in the race who are good to watch. Just every stage of the Dauphine seemed very good.0
-
Moreno Moser also abandoned. Stalled a bit after last year, hasn't he?0
-
Pretty sure Swift is still there.0
-
Swifty 3rd in line. Not abandoned.0
-
Sky pushing the pace at the front with most of the team (minus Wiggins obviously) at 35km to go on a climb which is making a few drop out the back.0
-
Barguil making moves.
FF's viewing motivation will surely increase.
maybe less so given it's Sky that chase him down...0 -
All together again now, Sky still pushing the pace with 5 riders - Henao, Kennaugh, Deignan, Swift and Knees I think.0
-
Over the hill, Sagan and Frank both had an attack but nothing major, Martin was leading it out down the other side but Sagan just moving off the front - group of about 25 roughly 50m back.0
-
How's Pinot doing on the descent? Anyone watching live??0
-
Sagan ahead by a few seconds on the descent top 82kmph going down0
-
Attacks off the front with 5k to go on the descent? Better go to some adverts...
Rather more exciting finish than I thought we'd get
e: and all back together0 -
Slightly strange tactic from Sagan there - wasted energy.0
-
All together again with 2km to go. Never heard anything about Pinot.
Martin leading it out...0 -
Oooh, Martin playing the Cancellera game and riding people off his wheel.0
-
Swift better have got third.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0
-
Martin opened a gap and took about 5 riders with him, Trentin got the stage and Swift boxed in for third.
Could be some GC gaps though.0 -
He does a good lead out Tony Martin. Trentin won.0

Another race where Sky do a shed load and all they can manage is 4th. At times it makes you wonder why they bother?0
