    1. He's wearing Adidas Sky leggings with Rapha Sky jersey
    2. Riding in the small ring

The word style has no place in a sentence describing that photo. They've ruined an otherwise decent bike.

Wiggins withdraw's due to a graze sustained in a crash yesterday as a result of riding in the peloton scraps.

You could sort of tell by his body language after the crash that he wouldn't be starting today. Actually thought he wasn't going to bother getting on.

Possibly stupid question though: the sky press release suggests that he he has bruising which requires treatmennt. Is there actually any treatment for bruising beyond resting?

I thought it was very nice of Suisse TV to highlight the Plaque of Ferdinand Kubler as the race passed through the place he was born in Marthalen.
He is 94 now and the oldest living Tour De France winner.

5km, fast run in and no sign of Swift. Martin leading out for OPQS and TS/Trek also up there.

Van Poppel swerved into an OGE rider who went down and Cav ended up somersaulting over him - looked nasty but he's riding over the line now.

Just cant summon any motivation to watch this race. Cavendish flipped right over the handlebars there. Big Degenkolb takes a decent win.

    edit, I meant Modolo.

Cav had backed off also as it was getting messy at the front before that corner, and Cav had no where to go and and flipped over, looked very disappointed and blood on his right shoulder, glad he's ok though,

the run in narrows from the outside of the bend, straight after the corner. It's like the guy who lays out the course wanted a crash, for the entertainment value!

Goss ran DvP wide, nowhere to go. Looking at it again, there was no shove, just altered his line to avoid the barrier.
Not sure that Goss didn't slightly lose his rear wheel in the corner, as well.

I thought Dekongolb squeezing out the Katusha (?) rider on the last corner was too close, left him nowhere to go.

Did he sign for Lampre, overnight?

Don't these British riders realise I want to see them all competing at the Nationals? Inconsiderate of them to crash and risk injuring themselves for the big event!

Yes, I was starting to think that (ok, the devil inside hoped for a few secs that Cav would be injured enough to miss the TdF ... think of the uproar).
