Two timetrials has brought the testers out. Which Wiggins will turn up? Plus a couple of stages for Sagan?
MTN got an invite so they should animate things a bit as well..

It seems storms forecast towards the end of the stage tomorrow, so all the big names are electing to go out early (no TV)

Organisers tried to get them to change their minds, without success.

Looks like Rohan Dennis the only favourite to start late.

Why isn't Kennaugh having a pop at leading this?

    Stef Clement sez

Just saw tomorrows TT-course and wonder if any UCI commissaire did? This downhill should be in RedBull crushed ice competition, not cycling.

We don't really know who's going to be leading, but two time trials and not enough mountains to be ideal for Kennaugh. Depends on Brad I guess.

Yup - And as Chinny hit the deck at 55km/h a week ago he might be a bit nervous

    Favourite for today?
Unless they've also changed their start times, like Dennis seems to have done, the start times of Dumoulin and Cancellara (and Terpstra, Dowsett, Meyer, Kolobnev, Breschel and Izaguirre) are all in the second half of the field.

I heard any storms are likely this evening, not this afternoon, however the gusty wind will turn during the afternoon from eastwards to northwards - might be a little help on the climb?

Wiggins 20 seconds down at 3rd check. He will not be winning today.

Yeah, I meant of the GC favourites. I haven't managed to find an updated start time list, so no idea at all when Cancellara and others are actually going.

This rider would probably be better off leaving sky as very few opportunities in the current sky set up.

Pozzo 5 seconds down at 2nd check, with the climb still to come.

Can't they give them something to do while they're sitting there? Like some out of date magazines to read or something.

Big Tone might look big on a bike, but in that chair he looks tiny.
