FTFY.
Though it wasn't really a Cavendish-sprinter stage as it? Some hills to drop the pure sprinters before the run in...0 -

Swift did very well to be up there for the sprint, but got boxed in and couldn't really launch his sprint as he had nowhere to go. It was, again, a bit of a crazy finish for a WT race, far too narrow a finishing straight for a flat sprint.0 -
TdS love their narrow finishes - almost always little distance between barriers.Contador is the Greatest0

Cancellara leading as expected at this point0 -
Swift did very well to be up there for the sprint,
Is that really good enough when your team have work pretty hard for you? Sky certainly worked harder for Swift than other teams, who have still got people in the mix. And I mean no one ever said 'didn't Cav/Chippo/Petacchi do well to be up there for the sprint'. Swift to me looks like a poor mans EBH.0 -

Should they have not tried?
He got boxed in on a ridiculously narrow straight. It happens.0 -
Looks a very good ride by Taciak, to beat Dowsett, Kessiakoff, Meyer and others. Have never heard of him before.0

Did Gerdemann stop, crash or disappear - 58th at both checks and then nothing'Do not compare your bike to others, for always there will be greater and lesser bikes'0

Henao's bike post crash. Hope he is ok and this will be a short time off the bike.

Most interesting things so far consist of people pulling out, or Cav's win. Maybe it will liven up over the weekend?0 -
