Not a lifter. It doesn't have a thick end it's parallel sided but a bad camera angle. Finger goes in from the far end.

They are referred to as thumb savers as normally you hold a nail between your finger and thumb, if you miss the nail you normally end up hitting your thumb. I assume that with this gizmo you slide it onto your finger and put the nail in the end.

The 'V' shape cut out I would think is to slide over a screw that can then be tightened to secure the thingy. Is it for hanging up an item with a cylindrical shape?Always be yourself, unless you can be Aaron Rodgers....Then always be Aaron Rodgers.0
