Just a bit of fun. Work out what these objects are used for, if you get it right it's then your go...

The 20p is just there to give it some scale but the other three bits are used together.

Ohh good game. They're interesting objects. Are these items related to painting or stained glass? Pigments and oil - Linseed? No clue what the grid like object is.

Second guess is that they could be used for staining and counting something. Couldn't guess what though. Too big for cells.

The grid thing is a cage for the queen bee, so she can have a coloured bead attached to her for easy identification.

    Yes.

The set is for marking queen bees. There are coloured dots, glue, and a queen marking cage under which she is held still on the comb and the bee-keeper (me) can apply the dot.

Queens can last upto 5 years generally, so there is a marking code 0-5 blue, 1-6 white, 2-7 yellow, 3-8 red, and 4-9 green. Marked correctly we can tell the year she was born and it makes it a bit easier to see her in the hive (just).

Over to you for the next piccy.

Considering as how I can't see the picture perhaps my random guesses aren't so stupid

I don't think I have ever won anything before, apart from €38 million in the Belgium lottery that I never entered, but somehow my cheque never actually arrives.

Does someone else want to take up the mantle with a pic to keep it going? I am at work at the moment, so there is nothing interesting to photograph at the moment.
