Anything nautical???~~~~~~Sustrans - Join the Movement~~~~~~0

Does a rope go through it from top to bottom (in the pic) then you jam it in the vee?0
-
No, and no.
Oh, Natrix it's not a part of something else.0 -

Kitchen utensil??~~~~~~Sustrans - Join the Movement~~~~~~0
-
No to both. Although it was in a kitchen drawer.
It was given to me by my Canadian uncle, he said it was really useful, but I have never used it as I've never felt the need. Strikes me as the kind of thing that would be in one of those mail order catalogues of 'useful' stuff that nobody actually needs.0 -
Is your uncle's nationality significant?0
-
Is your uncle male or female? What does he/she do for a living? and is this significant?Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0
-
Are you sure he's your Uncle?0
-
Definitely my actual uncle, not a Jimmy Saville style special 'uncle'. Nationality was more to say they may not sell this particular form of useless tat over here.0

Anything to do with personal grooming or camping??~~~~~~Sustrans - Join the Movement~~~~~~0

Would it be used inside the house somewhere (but not the kitchen)0
-
Not personal grooming or camping. You could use it in the house, but not exclusively.0
-
do you put your thumb in it?0
-
Does the flat bit that is in contact with the sofa fit onto something flat like a wall and the cut out bit is where a screw goes to hook it in place?0
-
Sofa? That's a floor tile. But no, nothing like that.
I'd use a finger rather than a thumb. You probably could use a thumb.0 -
To help take something off/out of something else?0

Does it help you hold something?0

The c0ck wombles on 'The Apprentice' could use it as an embellishment for their ties, to stop them flying around in high winds~~~~~~Sustrans - Join the Movement~~~~~~0 -
No to all of the above. Can someone get it before I go to the pub please.0

I still think that this is a fantastic idea. You could slip it onto your shirt button and put a bunch a flowers in it, the aroma would be right under your nose all day. it could start a new fashion~~~~~~Sustrans - Join the Movement~~~~~~0 -
