Why not gyroscopic cameras? Weight, costs or mounting? It's not half dizzying watching them during a sprint.0

Looks like this hasn't been posted before. Highlights from tdf. Think it's all TeamSky but not sure.

The final OGE backstage pass has some good onboard footage from the Champs Elysees. I liked the tunnel shot at ~8:08, you normally never get to see that part on TV.
Also worth watching for Christian Meier going around doing mini-interviews with other riders.
Cheng @ 2:55ish
Jens at around the 4 min mark:
"Maybe one last little attack on the Champs today?"
"Oh sh*t yeah! Does a bear sh*t in the woods? Of course! Does Jensie attack? Of course!"0 -
Pain hurts much less if its topped off with beating your mates to top of a climb.0

This is quite interesting regarding stabilizing the camera on the bike.

Got exhausted just looking at that. I hope the riders treat them decently during the races. I'm sure they don't.0

This thread will be up there for "Thread of the Year"
some brilliant footage0 -
Best example of these I've seen was atually the edited highlights from the wheel of Jeremy Roy at - I think - the Tour de POitou Charentes. Captured the mundanity of the peloton rather well, I thought.Team My Man 2018: David gaudu, Pierre Latour, Romain Bardet, Thibaut pinot, Alexandre Geniez, Florian Senechal, Warren Barguil, Benoit Cosnefroy0

"At Amgen Tour of CA this year I was riding next to this Dutch guy talking with his Australian friend, it was an easy point in the race and he was going on about how he cheated on his wife with this smoking hot blonde the week before blah, blah, blah, anyway he turns to me as I ride up and you can tell he wants as many people as possible to hear his story of triumph when all of a sudden he realizes that I've got one of these new fancy Shimano bike cameras on. He turns white and asks, "Hey that things not on right?" "
