Near the end the OGE rider with the camera gets taken down by an Astana rider who totally misjudges a hairpin on a descent.0 -

I may be soppy, but I like that - it shows the camaraderie both between and within teams.0 -

I think you can see Froome's crash (one of them at least) around the 50s mark. Hard to see if it's actually him but I figured the odds were in favour...
Pretty sure it's Froome's crash given the white garage door.
Team Green and their Garmin Virb footage

In his interview with the hipsters' choice (The Cycling Podcast), Brian Cookson was very keen to see on board cameras being developed in the future.
Said cycling is being left behind in terms of its coverage0 -
That's a pretty good call.
I was reading that the tech means live pictures wouldn't be that likely but decent edits after the race would be.
I would take that as I have been fascinated by all the on bike footage since that Tour of Cali one.0 -

Looks more like motorsport than...motorsport. Great body english from Sagan. Reminds me of something Lemond once said about cycling uniquely combining the demands of athletics and motorsport. Trying not to sound silly, I bl**dy love this sport. The on bike footage and team broadcasts (OGE Backstage Pass especially recommended) are great additional ways to access the sport.0 -
Awesome footage, can really see the amazing bike handling skills from a vantage like thisScott Speedster S20 Roadie for Speed
Specialized Hardrock MTB for Lumps
Specialized Langster SS for Ease
Cinelli Mash Bolt Fixed for Pain
n+1 is well and truly on track

Looking at all these clips...climbing out of the saddle needs to be banned, it spoils the pictures!Half man, Half bike0

That bar tape looks like the sick my cat produced yesterday evening.Correlation is not causation.0

Well if it stops these moron motorbike cameramen keep showing Nodding Heads and ear holes/crash hats, then I would prefer bike cams to those idiots.
There is a race to follow and if they want heads then stay in the studio with news readers and quiz show presenters. (or riders on their Turbo's)
One good thing about the mountains is those motorbikes have to follow and we get the full flavour of the TDF.
On Board Bike Cameras will help to see body language and (whoops) verbal also and what I crave for, "The Action".
They can do what they like on the Flat stages.Organiser, National Championship 50 mile Time Trial 19720 -

Here's something a bit unusual: silly spectator has his helmet-mounted camera knocked off by a well-timed Lotto elbow... then Kevin Reza somehow manages to scoop up the helmet on his way past () and does a bit of impromptu filming before handing it off to the team car0

Outstanding.
Riza's a bit of a dude. Never thought I'd get that kind of close up on his crotch though.0 -
And then she got her camera back. Just in case anyone was in any doubt, Kevin Reza is going to be a superstar.0
-
Did she deserve to get the camera back though?0

It was a bloke who lost it - his girlfriend was the one who was brave enough to ask for it back. Personally, I don't think the fool deserves either...0 -
Ok so it is quite cool but what a prick Reza is to steal someone's property. Seriously, it's theft. Who knows whether he could have got it back.Contador is the Greatest0

It was on the side of the road and there is no need to pick it up regardless. Riders just do not do that sort of thing.Contador is the Greatest0

Indeed how annoying, you take some great images and someone just comes along and takes them from you. :roll:0
