The more I see of those Tinkoff-Saxo bikes, the less I like them ... The blue doesn't even match the kit ...

    Herrada has joined.

Those 5 have 1.15 with 46km to race.

  • Damn it Carlton they're climbing and another Movistar rider is having a pop out of the bunch and you're back to chatting about Cunego's descending skills again.

37ks, pinned at around 55 secs. Saxo lead. Pretty much everyone there.

Obviously there must be perks to be being a vociferous member of the Cunego fan club. How do I join?

Durasek has moved ahead and got 50m on the four others. Good crowds already.

  • The crowds Cunego are really great. Cunego Durasek put in a nice Cunego attack there. Tinkoff-Cunego-Saxo are looking pretty good on Cunego the front of the peloton given they were struggling Cunego for members earlier. Cunego.

Well I'm watching on glorious HD RAI-Climax, bounced off Inmarsat, and projected onto the clouds I arranged to be seeded earlier by buddies on ISS.

Last climb is 7.5km long, 6.7% average, 580m altitude.

10ks to race and pretty much all back together. Tinkoff and OPQS on the front with a lot of men.

Probably just parked in the back, had to work hard early after Nieve missed a move and the bunch split.

Simon Yates showing no fear but that's a strong peloton to try beat single handedly.

Simon Yates got paced up by someone and is now solo. He is 58secs down on GC.

No one else has the balls to follow.

Attacking from the base. Not sure he would be allowed to do that if he had joined Sky.

30-40 riders in it. Pace not so high. Zero desire to win.

No one wants it? Ok my man will attack with 4.7km to race. Valverde only one to cover. Contador lets some riders catch.

Thank god for that ... A lot better than the attacks at 1.2km we've had to get used to ...
