You do seem a bit obsessed with City's history Stevo, plucking out results from previous seasons to deflect from how well Chelsea are defending their title THIS SEASON having spent all that Russian money
Bit sad really
If you spent more time learning about Chelsea's history, you would know that prior to the respective sugar daddies coming to our clubs, City had won more domestic titles than Chelsea. Not bad for a club with no 'istree, eh??
Maybe you should post a photo of a Chelsea loss this season with a headline "after Russian money!". TBF, you've got plenty to choose from
At least you can look forward to your next game...a relegation 6 pointer with Norwich
Time to start mentioning Europe again"I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
You really are arguing between OK and shyte? Obviously Chelsea's wee-wee poor season is making you desperate Stevo, seeing you City Boy throw this back and forth is like two bald men fighting over a comb.
Stevo is in much greater need of a comb than me, I can assure you...

We shall see how deep Stevo's loyalty really lies when things aren't going well. As a Gooner, we have become used to it but for recent converts to Chelski, it will be tough for them. Poor lads. you have to feel for them.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0

You're older than that surely. Why 95? I'll give you some credit, most Manure Fans were supporters by the time they were in the womb - same as their Dad or their Grandfather's Dads Dad's Dad, (back in 1762). :roll:seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

You should be happy. Somehow, you've moved up to 5th in the FF league. Must have seen the light and got shot of some Chelsea players.

It's been a tough few weeks but when I'm feeling down I just keep thinking of
"Arsenal did win the forerunner to the CL in '94."
and everything feels a little bit better. JCL's eh.0 -
Bournemouth fans would have been overjoyed at the start of the season at the prospect of being within 3 points of Chelsea after 12 games. Disappointed now though...0

I am glad about that. At least you'll have something to smile about in the long long season ahead and perhaps even the search for another manager, no CL spot, no league win. All mixed in with a huge degree of uncertainty with the added prospect of the Hazard's and the Oscar's who may flee the sinking ship.
I feel for Pedro, class player in an old tub that's disappearing quicker than an English cricket teams' tail end.
You cannot complain Cornerblock if you get a bucket load of abuse seen as I remember you posting the link to the number of years, day's and minutes web page since Arsenal's last trophy on more than one occasion, so you'll just have to take it on the chin. In fact, it's open season on Chelski fans who chose to rub others noses in it ad nauseum instead of winning gracefully.seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Well done City on salvaging a point at Villa Park

You've obviously not watched the game then, but that's nothing new
I voiced my doubts over Pellegrini before and today has done little to ease those doubts. Still a point away from home is the least that you want. Although I'm sure Chelsea would settle for salvaging a point at home at the minute

Complain? Moi? Who's complaining? Bring it on. I love the dogs abuse, wouldn't have it any other way. But,
"Arsenal did win the forerunner to the CL in '94." isn't abuse, it's comedy gold.0 -

It was the pinnacle of European domestic football then. Chelsea won it in 71 and 98 but seen as it is comedic to you, why don't you ask Abramovic to bin the replica trophies and erase it from the records?seanoconn - gruagach craic!0 -

Is this the cup winners cup people are talking about? If so, this has never been the forerunner to the Champions League and has never been the pinnacle of European football. There were three European Trophies, The European Champions Club Cup, The Uefa Cup and the Cup WInners Cup. The latter was scrapped in 1999 to be merged with the Uefa cup. The European Champions Club Cup became the Champions League in 1992/93.0 -

Not really....LVG still insists on playing Rooney! A good weekend for UTD will be when he sees sense and drops him.
Always nice when City, the redscouse*******s and the Arse don't win though!

Just been made aware of the latest email scam targeting football fans.
An email arrives purporting to give a link to free Premiership tickets. On no account open it. It links to free Chelsea tickets.

The blindness of a football fan.
Slating a team who are 15 points above yours for being rubbish.
Is that irony or just plain bollocks? The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -

Quite, and this from a bloke that supports a club because his Missus told him to! (As well as supporting the one that he grew up supporting, obviously!) :shock:Trail fun - Transition Bandit
