Yeah we have a little, gets a lot of interest but we cant sell to N America due to insurance, so were not pushing.

Lovely. How much did it come out with withall the upgrades? One thing if you are reading this Ben, is if I can find fault with your bike, it's the cable routing. Underside of the top tube is NOT nice. Underside of the down tube is the best IMO

Thanks CQC, but I'm afraid we will likely never build a bike with underside of the downtube routing. Sorry! Its vulnerable to damage and attracts mud like no-ones business, making the bike impossible to clean properly, and the TT routing gives a pretty much straight line once past the first turn. Ive has a few Specialized over the years and my one biggest gripe with all of them was the cable routing... and don't get me started on the absolutely mental routing on my last Lapierre but thats a whole different issue.

What have you got against routing on the underside of the TT out of interest?
I've gotta agree with you here, underside of downtube cable routing is an absolute pain in the proverbial, I hate it. Top of downtube or underside of top tube works well IMO.
Your bikes look ace by the way, I really fancy one of the bottom spec ones, as they're a lot of bike for the cash!

Ok, well I see to be outvoted here... How about like the new nomad, with the internal routing but with sleeves to make maintenance easy

Also not a massive fan TBH. Internal routing is kind of ok, but through the headtube is a no-no (gives a terrible hose run that always screws up). Through the side of the top tube works, but its more of a PITA than its worth I think. Im a great believer in a bike that can be stripped and rebuilt quickly and efficiently. Replacing a complete outer is soooo much easier than partial internals, even with the guide tubes. Yes internal looks nice I will admit, but its one form over function we probably won't go for - even on our carbon frames.

I mean full outer cable even inside the frame, but whatever, the current one isn't too bad...

I think it's fine. Clearly it's a frame that's designed to ride really well and also meet a price point, which it does. You go adding fancy internal cable routing and any number of other unnecessary touches and it's no longer what it set out to be (presumably)

If you could rout a full outer down the sleeve I would be interested!

I dont think theyre too expensive tbh, there definitly up there with the bfe, production privee, slackline etc.

They're certainly a lot cheaper than them! BFe full build comes in at £2k! These are £1150 i think for the basic spec, and even then it's pretty good.

Just starting to get used to the 29er, quite an impressive folk, just waiting to get up to Hamsterley forest now. Totally stock at the moment, but would like to shave some weight off it over time, maybe starting with the tubeless route.

Nearly 6 months into my ownership of the On One 45650b, and thought it was time to send some up to date pics.

Not made any changes to the bike ... have just been enjoying riding it without needing to upgrade or pimp it up!!

These two photo's were taken on an epic 78km ride from North Leeds out on some of the best trails around here ... Otley Chevin and Ilkley Moor and back again!
