I hate these switch backs at this dam, however last year I somehow had Strava KOM on this upcoming 1.1km section along the lake. I held it for 24hrs. I was 9th this morning assume I'll be behind Ten Dam & Roy and thus no longer top ten after this.

Linky? Would like to know how many thousand are faster than me....

    Didnt realise Mollema was `ill`.

It was announced after the stage that Mollema has been suffering from the flu since the time trial, and there was some question as to whether he would be able to continue

Not really. IMHO The only point of going uphill is to bomb down the other side as fast as you can.

Points allocation at the top of the Glandon
The first climb today is rated as 'Hors Category' which means the first 10 at the top get the following points:25, 20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2.

The dead people live over towards where they're heading at the end of the stage. Filmed in Annecy and in bits of Tignes apparently.

Just about to say this. Turned over from Carlton at the last ad break, and am not going back (until they bring on Pinky and Perky). These guys, particularly Rendell are great.

Right just popping out for a sandwich does anyone want anything? I'm going for a parmigiana myself. Yes that's right, aubergine parmigiana in a sandwich. Yum yum yum.
