I was hoping Nieve or Riblon (if he's able to!) would try to get in the break to get the HC points and take the polka dots jersey. Riblon isn't far behind at all after his points yesterday.

Is that the 4th carrot to have jumped off the front along with Johnny H?

Looking at Quintana today. 21 seconds away froma second place. Gives Movistar the incentive to share responsibilities with Sky. Will Saxo come up with something? Don't see it.

You think Quintana will settle for second place? Or is it worth having another serious go at Froome to ramp up the pressure ahead of Annecy-Semnoz? Who knows how solid a 5 min+ gap is in cycling's Age of Aquarius?

I just ran to the pub over the road to use their wi-fi to set my Sky +.

    I think I may have a problem.

Riblon making some moves! Would be nice to see him contesting the polka dot title
  • What's worse, polka dot shorts or brown Ag2r shorts? I can't decide.

Even if Froome had a mare, he'd lose between 2-3 minutes at most. He won't have 2 mares (I confidently predict).

One on one, Froome remains a strongr rider than Quintana.

Le Mevel get's a Cofidis noticed by being the first to go out the back of the peloton on the climb.

It's a good strategy! More airtime than they've had in the last few stages already :)

Sounds like Kelly doesn't like riding a bike up hills anymore. Grumpy old sod.

"it's not a nice place to ride a bike" WTF?

He employed some sneaky tactics when filming The Ride with Froome and the tattoed Norwegian dude.

Love this wee descent on the Glandon.

Some of the names in the second group...
De Marchi (CAN), Bak (LTB), Bakelants (RTL), Kadri and Riblon (ALM), Hernandez and Paulino (TST), Costa and Plaza (MOV), Coppel (COF), Cunego and Serpa (LAM), Gesink (BEL) and Millar (GRS)...

There are three men ahead of this group: Izaguirre (EUS), Hesjedal (GRS) and Cousin (EUC).
