Rolland out front after his brief love affair with Ryder, looking tired, chase group hunting him down, peleton taking it easy'ish.

Just had a text from the Mrs saying "check out the Lampre dude with the tache".

Firstly, well done to her for spotting a Lampre rider, no one else has seen them all race....
    Secondly, who has the tache?

    JOSE SERPA

Check out the images on google

not bad... Jerome Cousin of Europcar had a mighty fine one on stage 10 and got in a break to give it some decent TV time.

    Ryder wearing Hipster Sunglasses
    Rolland grimacing
    Evans delivering bottles to l'Autobus
Froome and a small colombian went to the back to do what came naturally.

    think thats it.

All the same, Ryder gone, left Rolland on his own up front now.

Lots of riders been eating, no real racing going on.

It should heat up a little bit in the next 20 minutes.

I'm only watching the rest of this as I have glandular fever and can barely move!

bad luck, when I had glandular fever I didn't even have the strength to watch TV for a couple of days. In 20 years self employed work it is the only time I've taken 11 days off for sickness (including a broken ankle and a broken wrist).

Was looking at something else (work  ) so just caught the last few seconds of it there. Look superb - was it running along a cable/wire or something? Was there someone controlling it or was it going itself? Must watch highlights later...
  • Re Cadel: clearly this tour is over for him but I don't think the fat lady has sung of the end to his career just yet. He put in a mighty performance in the Giro, exceeding everyone's expectations so I think he's just cream crackered. I could yet see a further GT podium (albeit probably not first place) in his career. Still a cut above most of the rest in GT terms. Good to see him soft pedalling with Cav and the autobus in beautiful alpine France, he's earned it.

they might show it again when the main pack go past, as I think that was the breakaway shown earlier.

This is like a quiet Sunday afternoon in the pub with your mates surveying the damage from a heavy night out the night before. everyone wants to be there, but no one can be bothered to make an effort.

This is a very good description. Chapeau.

I wonder what the BMC riders in the main peloton are thinking at the moment...
