Ha ha ha great advert for Jaguar. Froome effectively saying that he couldn't restock before because there was a mechanical problem with the car. Should have stuck with Skoda.

Surely a little unfair on a stage like that with effectively 2 HC climbs together??

Sky should have thought ahead and Porte's pockets should have been bulging with gels/bars/flapjack etc before the cut off.

Apparently the Sky Car had a problem and wasnt there at the start of the climb....Froome stuttered is massively though so might be a nice story

Quintana to make a play for the polka dots over the next couple of days? Or will Riblon and Nieve fight it out?

Handy car mechanical excuse for Froome, they should get themselves a Skoda (never broken down in loads of tours according to the adverts!)

    x-post with ATC.

What's the reasoning behind the no food/drink from car rule? On a flat stage with the sprint teams all charging it might make sense from a safety perspective, but otherwise?

Rob Hayles (??) saying it could be to prevent "sticky Bidons" just at the wrong place....

Mountain climbing on the Tour has been rubbish since Bahamontes retired, IMO.

Podium presentations: why oh why do they give MEN, superfit athletes, stuffed toys, FFSakes? ???

    The broken rule:

Rules governing feeding are as follows:
    • in general, continuous supplying is authorised between the signs located near the 50th
kilometre and the signs marking the end of the feeding zone posted 20 kilometres from the
    finish.

    He's tranquillo.

    It's not his bike.

Somebody brought it specially from Spain for him.

So I basically have to seduce either Kwiatkowski or Quintana to get one of those Young Rider stuffies. Hmmm who to pick? I reckon Quintana would be hard work, I could probably show him everything and he still wouldn't crack a smile.

BIG DEAL! HUGE deficit in his GC lead! That'll have him rattled, there's a real game on now.

    Love Richie.

EDIT - note to self, play poker with Porte, the man can't lie. Do not play poker with Quintana.
