I hope there'll be some cycling on soon.

In light hearted news, my repairs on a fooked wheel have been performed by the LBS for the total of £10 because I am "a legend"

Call him what you want but he's obviously right about what you posted. I guess you know that and that's why it provoked one of your usual "classy" responses.

Is he right though? Did I say anything about SRMs? No so that makes you both wrong. Welcome to the World of attention to detail.
If you were to ask my opinion about it I would not suggest it was him looking at his srm but examples of him racing with his head down which is very annoying to watch.
You would also find out that I copied it from elsewhere and didn`t put it together myself.

    Break? You mean a Fracture?

(Ok I ll stop now  )

@FJS - It's pretty windy in NL, I think extrapolating that to the Spring classic is usually Ok, but to Brittany might be a stretch but Leiden Swift would be in echelons today...

Why is someones natural riding style annoying?????? All TT riders do it when they are on the rivet, its a natural thing to do. The only thing that annoys me in pro cycling is unrepentant cheats.

Good attempt to save face for your dutch friend! You should give him some words of advice on how and what to post - the stuff I have seen quoted just is not up to scratch.

Oh please, you complain about Froome and other Sky riders racing with their eyes glued to their SRMs all the time. Almost as much as you imply they're doping. Stop trying to wriggle out of this.

You'll also notice I used the word "posted", not "created". I thought it would have been very unlikely you'd spend any time putting together a montage of Froome. Contador of course, but not one of the panache-less Sky robot factory boys who are ruining cycling.

As for "attention to detail", since you bring it up: "Most intelligent people improve as time goes by" (not "buy")

If I remember right, the commentator even said at the time, that he would get into a TT position to the line and thats what he did...who cares where he looks anyway? Not like he needs to keep an eye out for traffic or pedestrians is it?

I`m not wriggling out of anything but it looks like you are trying to save face. The alternative to you is to act like a man.

I find his style equally as annoying as other Sky riders going by their numbers. I watch this sport to be entertained and not relish in the results on a black and white page.

    Good spot re buy/by.

    ATC's Random Breton Guide

    220px-thumbnail_zps41738be8.jpg

Apparently Brittany has had human inhabitants since the Lower Paleolithic era. The first settlers were Neanderthals who were later to be replaced by homo sapiens who developed large-scale primitive industries. After the last ice age and when Brittany became heavily forested large communities began to establish themselves before migrants coming from the Mediterranean and further east introduced agriculture. As these agricultural practices were slowly absorbed into the communities already living in Brittany, Brittany became a core area of megalithic culture. There are many monuments to this important period in Brittany’s history, the most famous of which is of course Carnac, a series of standing stones which includes the Broken Menhir of Er Grah in Locmariaquer which is the largest ever stone erection by Neolithic man. No laughing at the back.

Later Brittany became home to the following Celtic tribes: The Curiosolitae, Namnetes, Osismii, Redones , Veneti and the Hinaults, OK not that last one, and Brittany is one of the six Celtic nations.

Fast forward to the present day and Brittany had been characterised by a strong Catholic and conservative influence. However, in the industrial regions around Saint-Nazaire, Lorient and Tréguier the Socialist and Communist parties are popular, making these towns left-wing strongholds. Since the 1970s the Socialist party and the Greens, have become more and more powerful while the far-right has little popular support in Brittany.

Brittany is well know for its ocean sun fish,

    The Breton horse,

    The escargot de Quimper,

The freshwater pearl mussel, the white-clawed crayfish and the Brittany Gun Dog.

You spout some crap Frenchie - you know, and we know, that you deliberately posted a montage of Froome looking down. You could have posted any number of pictures of him from Saturday, but no, you had to have your regular anti-Sky troll. You really need to grow up a little (well a lot actually).

The irony of your hypocrisy is hilarious too, but you won't see that.

Froome's riding style is far from pretty. And I find his tendency to look down every couple of seconds quite ungainly and distracting to watch... I'm not convinced that its the SRM he keeps looking at, seems more of a habit/tick...
