Does that mean you are going to change your avatar back from the awful one you have now

Hey what's wrong with my cow? Don't knock my cow!

GB update: Stannard with a flat, so just 3 in the break now.

In the absence of the Island's pro's Andrew Roche took the IOM's National Road Race title today in particularly tough weather conditions. Well done Andrew.

They waited for Stannard. Good boys.

Bet Garmin would make him a nice kit with it too.

Just thinking. It would be a sad reflection on Champion Systems if they couldn't come up with a decent kit design

Hmm wonder if the others wait for Stannard. Wouldn't be surprised.

    Check.

I wonder if Dan Martin raced in Ireland. That Matt guy cant even get a PT ride bu holds the jersey. Bit of a shame tbh. Dan Martin would do it proud. Bet Garmin would make him a nice kit with it too.

    Neither Martin or Roche raced.

Doesn't detract from the win. He's beaten them both before. 3 times.

Yeah, that is what is unfortunate. Matt hung onto Martin and took the sprint. Twice.

Hang on a minute FF you can't spend the day bigging up Cav and then diss Brammier. For much of their racing past they were peas in a pod and we know Cav isn't going to win with a 3km break.

I like to see the nat champ jerseys when I watch cycling. If a rider wins it who is in hardly any races that I watch then I am not going to be happy.

Comparing Cav to Matt is quite funny actually.

Bearing in mind Cav was WC recently I'd like to see Millar win it.

Or Martin didn't have the legs to drop a little league pro or the speed to beat him in the sprint.

Lots of people on twitter surprised the leading trio waited.

It would be more surprising if they hadn't.

One or two on-course updates would be nice. We're just getting updates at the end of laps.

Not a big deal this race wasn't live to be honest. Had this been the only race on today and I had sat through 3hrs of it I would have been bored to death and disappointed. Highlights tomorrow will be more than enough (they will have a hard time filling out an hour tbh).

Last lap? No idea where they are from where I'm standing... Picked up a sticky Sky bidon for my troubles.

All four of those riders are in the TdF so the jersey will be visible there.

Omega Pharma do awesome Nat jerseys so looking forward to seeing that.

Just watched the last climb on Great George St, lots of looking around but nobody attacked at that point. Hopefully got some decent photos from the day but haven't really checked yet!

Huge disappointment for cycling fans with Devolder taking the jersey. Possibly the nicest nat champs jersey in the World and it goes to a guy who has a suspiciously poor performance most of the year and for the last few years.

I suppose he did a good job to win this race though and did a good amount solo. Big fail from the big boys.

Do they have drug testing at Nationals?

He was very very strong in Flanders
