Is Hamilton really likely to have anything on Bertie?

Never mind. Before they kick us off for talking about silly stuff which is nothing to do with pro race, here's a clip of Mark Cavendish falling off the podium.

    Quite

What do we all reckon? I say he'll walk

Surely not, especially when Hamilton gets on the stand and tells the story of Fuentes' senile assistant that gave him a dodgy bag of blood that he p!ssed out. That alone should see him found guilty.

  • 'Spain’s sports authorities have vowed to maintain their campaign to end the country’s reputation for widespread doping as the long-awaited Operation Puerto trial reaches its midway point.

Spain’s anti-doping agency says it will follow the World Anti-Doping Agency’s lead by also requesting that the court finally hand over the more than 200 blood bags discovered in police raids in 2006 so they can be analyzed and help identify athletes who doped'

"When the trial finishes, this is not over. We will go to work,” Ana Munoz, the head of Spain’s anti-doping agency, told The Associated Press. “I am very aware of the doubts that exist abroad about Spain’s anti-doping fight. I spend 80 per cent of my time trying to change this image, not just with words, but with acts.”'

Just read this in the New Scientist. Seems the whole of Italy should be banned for 2 years.

The news comes as a separate investigation suggests that around 220,000 people in Italy – nearly 0.4 per cent of the population – use products banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

    Australian probe-
The use of performance-enhancing drugs – in some cases facilitated by organised crime – was unearthed in a landmark, year-long investigation. In what's been described as a major blow to professional sport's integrity in Australia, the ACC found that the use of banned drugs had been "orchestrated and condoned" by coaches, sports scientists and support staff across multiple sporting codes. The Guardian

Ok, the investigating of Doping has gone from Rider to the Doctor and now can only lead to the next step and that's the Supplier. Not being funny but I wouldn't be up to saying much as a Coach or a Doctor with a big Drug Supplier watching everything thing I said in Court. Supply of Sporting Drugs seems to be the same Supplier for the Steroids to Gym Monkeys, the local Scumbag on the street corner and even Viagra on the net. Maybe the history of Omerta in Cycling has come about not to stop sporting fraud but from the insistence of the criminals supplying the Drugs.

This may be a big ole bag of sh1t!
