Oh no, hang on, I think I've made some kind of false assumptionCoach H. (Dont ask me for training advice - 'It's not about the bike')0 -

Try again. I think it was set to private.0 -
Bloody forecast is getting worse not better, I am going to stop looking at it for a few days0

Sorry guys, I am not going to be able to make it. Its not a weather thing but my cunning plan to sneak out on Easter Monday has not borne fruit.
Have a good time. I am really disappointed to be missing it.Top Ten finisher - PTP Tour of Britain 20160 -
I really think we're going to have to have an alternate flat route that avoids the hills. Unless it all melts in 4 days, a lot of roads 'up there' are going to be tricky.0

Damn I and just loaded it onto my Bryton :-(
Oh well at least it will give me more practice with the GPS - really struggling with the Bryton Bridge interface.Yellow is the new Black.0 -
Well, possibly I can drive home over the top from my race on Sunday and check out the route. If it looks OK... we're good to go!
If it's total crap, then change of plan. Lots of great (flat) roads in Cheshire to take advantage of and better chance of keeping everyone together!0 -
And better chance of me not collapsing. I'll do a flatter route...Insta: ATEnduranceCoaching

I'd sooner try and keep up with Pokerface on a flat course as opposed to a hilly one.
It will obviously still be futile, but at least I will be less far behind and not struggling in granny gears :-)Yellow is the new Black.0 -
Look - I'll try and make it easy for everyone to keep up with me.
And I'll leave the TT bike at home0 -
Not sure if this is any use/relevance to you Nap (for choosing alternate routes)

I was goign to do this - but i'm not sure the weather isnt going to play tricks again - anyway, I think its really great for NapD and Colin to even think of organising this - well played -The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
Has anyone checked if the leisure centre is open the BH? I will give them a bell if not.
I will need somewhere to change at the start but could drop off at a services en route if I had to.0 -

"Monday 1st April (Bank Holiday) - CLOSED"
Does that mean the car park will have barriers down? Do you want to give them a call Bobbinogs?Summer - Canyon Ultimate CF SLX 9.0 Team

OK, spoke to the centre and the whole centre is definitely closed on Monday but the lady I spoke to confirmed Nap's view that parking will be fine.0

I may have to cry off. My son has just announced he's coming home for Easter, so I'll probably be feeding the prodigal.... (not seen him since xmas)0
