  • Sorry, behind all the die hards out there and still plugging through the docs but just read through some of the supporting documents.

    http://d3epuodzu3wuis.cloudfront.net/Andreu+Frankie+Affidavit.pdf

    http://d3epuodzu3wuis.cloudfront.net/Andreu+Betsy+Affidavit.pdf

reading these two affidavits back to back. Hmm a marriage built on trust and 100% honest foundations then!

I think Betsy comes across incredibly naive and David Walsh didn't mind using and abusing people to get his name in lights. Frankie doesn't come out of this particularly well in my own eyes either. Kept digging bigger holes and the lies to a loved one kept on coming.

    Ou est le $25,000?

Enjoyed that ABC documentary; I think a lot of fanboys who have not accepted the truth need to see it.

    Very good ...
  • Phil Liggett-Watch:

Liggett finally admits that he thinks that Armstrong doped...

OZ programme called 4 Corners aired tonight on ABC

    http://www.abc.net.au/4corners/stories/ ... 608613.htm

    Liggett's interviewed about 21:20 in

Havent had a chance to watch it all the way through yet - but it looks a good prog

around 38.20: Dick Pound recounts conversation with Verbruggen where Pound tells him that his sport has a big doping problem. Verbruggen's response: its the fans fault. Yes folks, its all OUR fault. Fark.

It's not a lie if you believe it.

The only way Armstrong gets anywhere near a lie detector is if it's a straight choice between that and admitting it.

There are a LOT of fanboys out there will NEVER think he's guilty. You only need to read other forums and look at the media . As for the documentary anyone can see the arrogance of the man in his answer's to the defence lawyers. Phil Liggett is laughable as well.

I've seen that 2005 video of him being questioned before but seeing it again just shows how seriously and deep down this man is twisted. I'm pretty sure he could have been a dictator in his time. He lies with such assurance its amazing. 45.05 in that video above - someone play that back to him 100 times.

“If he’s been taking drugs then of course it’s right [to sanction] but they still lack the absolute proof as far as I’m aware. I still am a supporter of Armstrong. Whatever way we look at it Lance has been good for the sport. No one can condone, if it’s finally proved, that he’s ridden his whole career on drugs. I had an email from an eminent scientist from the US yesterday. An SMS actually. It said if Lance Armstrong had taken the drugs outlined by USADA he’d have been dead ten years ago. He’s an eminent scientist and a very intelligent man. I don’t know his name, the SMS came from a secondary person.”
"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

SMS from a secondary person, whose name he doesn't know > all that silly evidence USADA gathered.

Nike organising a rally to stand behind the cheating, doping bully boy of US sports. So all the fans get a free yellow Nike/Livestrong T-shirt (probably manufactured in a sweatshop in the Phillipnes/Thailand/Haiti) and get to see:

Norah Jones - annoying middle of the road Jazzster
Robin Williams - Famous for loving a small powedery bump now and again. Expect a joke about saying the USADA has no authority etc
Sean Penn - Hates on the South Park Team for their accurate portrayal of him in Team America.
    Ben Stiller -
Plus a whole host of C list US celeb chefs

Plus at some college sports game (US football I think; you know the one with the steroided up teenagers running faster than an average sprinter despite weighing 4 times as much) the kids are going to reveal the 'especially' designed liestrong t-shirts.

Then there is a bike race challenge. (Wonder if Kirstin will be there handing out foil parcels to the participants?) Where wannabe's ride along with celebrity cancer survivor lance armstrong.

Seriously no politicians supporting him? Wow; he is done. Normally they are jumping all over a bandwagon like this; especially in this campaigning period.

This is a classic example of what I'm talking about. Someone who can't accept the fact that there are people who still stand behind their friends despite their faults, yet he feels it's all OK to engage in name calling, slandering, etc. Typical FOLLOWER of what everyone else is doing. Not an original thought in his whole post. Most likely incapable of thinking for himself. Sad person

I feel a bit sorry for Liggett, he seems torn and bitterly disappointed. I think he now actually believes the truth. He states that Tylers book must be the truth and then he talks horse5hit about some eminent scientist saying Lance should be dead. I think the guy needs a hug.

Agreed. Denial, followed by acceptance followed by denial, followed by b*ll*x.
The poor ol' duffer doesn't know what on earth he's on about.
For me it means he's going ruin next years tour because I will have no confidence he knows anything about what he's talking about.
What with this and Hugh Porter - Jeez. Time for some new blood, pardon the pun.
    Can I upgrade???

Dick Pound never really helped anything. He was always antagonistic, more willing to criticise than help. There's been a significant amount of progress since he left.

  • I'd like to hear from Alistair Campbell at this point.

Piers Morgan deriding somebody as a liar, a cheat and a bully demnstrates a lack of self awareness bordering on the sociopathic also.
