Ended up doing 52k on roads on my hard tail after not finding any. Bad times.

Did a lap of Gisburn yesterday and got soaked, weather was a lot nicer today so went to Rivington. My legs are done in now.

If you rode 52km on roads in Wales and didn't find any trails, you either had your eyes shut, or were doing laps of Cardiff city centre.

    Too bloody right!
Even in Anglesey you'd find something after 52K!
  • Haha - not to far from the truth. Lovely trails from Cardiff city centre up north and lovely trails north of Newport. Unfortunately none connecting Cardiff to Newport which meant a lot of road riding. I'll stick to Cwmcarn and Afan Forest in the future! ;)

Couple or three hours round some local trails - sunny and 22 degrees which after a week of raina nd snow was a blessing - trails were beautiful - tacky and fast with little mud and no dust. Ended the ride still full of beans doing some little jumps and bunny's on the road side and standing sprints just for fun. I f**king love riding my bike! :D

Llandegla. Did the black bits for the first time, the second half felt really unrewarding, but I had just had a massive off on the B-Line so I was sulking and hurting.

2 hour blast round one of the local parks - great fun - hardly sat down on the saddle for the last half just ragged round. Played with steering techniques and whipping the back end round hairpins, just had a great deal of fun. I quite like bikes. They are good.

Found three reasonable gravity runs on the Chase the other month so I had a little play over there last night. Was very quiet and slightly surreal pushing up in the setting sun.

    Brussels to antwerp commute. 67km

feel really good about it, I usually try to do this big commute a few times a year but this is the first time I've had the time/inclination/fitness to commit to it this season. in an hour I have to do the same back again though and I'm less sure of that .... at least the sun's out!

then riding a rigid singlespeed is like licking it

went to healey nab for the first having got the train to chorley, not sure i took an entirely legal route to get there but it worked. Pleasantly surprised when i got there as well, only one run but plenty of variety and alternative lines, managed to spend a good three hours sessioning and stuff in the glorious sunshine with only one other soul about.
  • A couple of trails in Glentress, including my first run of spooky wood. Good conditions and a fantastic latitude 853 frame.
  • Explored Winterthur today for 4 hours. Awesome!
Little to no traffic when you're on the road.
    Gona explore further tomorrow.

Rode the Twrch Trail at Cwm Carn yesterday.
Didn't go up there until 3.30pm and didn't see anyone else on the trail until about a mile from the end.
First time I've done it and although that uphill at the start is a bugger I loved it. :)

Rode a local trail along some old railway tracks, then some muddy trails along the Ogwen Valley yesterday, and broke my 1000 miles barrier for the year.
