Absolutely smashed. Chapeau to the guy that got that. Profile says he rides a SS, getting up to 42mph seems maybe a bit of phone GPS coming into play. Still, rapid.

I really wanted it to be a glitch, but looking at teh rest of teh ride, and teh times he has set along segments I think it might be legit! Kudos indeed, extra effort now required

"Uh oh! You just lost your KOM on SCR Millbank Sprint - South to Tom Robinson by 1 second."

    WHO? WHAT? WTF!!!

Maybe he uploaded then deleted it so he could SNAP it. I always end up doing that with longer rides as something usually gets missed.

Well that's probably the first and last time my Strava antics will be noticed (and prompt me to stop lurking). Sadly I trust the Cateye maxing out at 29.8mph a little more than the iPhone. A shame, as measured accurately it would have been a PB by some way.

At last some payback for the miles, a PR on Blackheath Hill, 3 secs quicker and didn't feel like throwing up as I did the last time I did it which was max effort but this time I think I could have gone another second quicker, maybe more with fresh legs

Ooh, Balham Hill KOM gone :(

I'm a bit dubious, reckon an engine may have been involved...

Whenever I see WillyB's routes I always chuckle to myself. I wonder if he's doing the knowledge while commuting?

 Not as bad as they used to be tbh. I admit, they are certainly less than direct though!

Think it's a bike, just the gps signal hasn't locked well, he spends a lot of time near the start cycling through houses.

  • Some chap nicked my KOM on a segment I created near my parents' house back in Herts, only rode it the once before and the KOM stood for months 'til a few weeks ago when he beat it by two seconds. Fortuitously I've just moved back with 'em for a couple of weeks so thought I'd nip into town and see if I could beat him...

I've managed to get myself two followers - I definitely don't know them in real life. Am I supposed to to acknowledge them or follow them back or something? Not sure why they want to follow me to be honest :?

What makes it worse is that it's up in Derbyshire, and i'll not be up there for a good month! It's an impressive time hough i'll give him that!

ummed and ahhed about doing a lap of RP this morning as i'm still coughing up all kinds of unpleasantness. but in the end felt good so decided to have a go, super glad i did... not sub, but bang on 20:00!

backed it up with a stopwatch too so this time i know it's genuine. really stoked given that i'm on the cast-iron hybrid and this was only my third attempt at a full lap. boom!

Nice work Aeon, I still need to get down to RP for a few laps, interested to see how I do.

Hit a section quite hard on Friday, and was pleased to see I bagged the KOM :)http://app.strava.com/segments/907350

thanks! yeah, you should... it's just a really pleasing place to be, especially early in the morning before rush hour.

three lap challenge is where it's at, although a sub-60 minute run seems an unimaginable stretch to me at the moment.

Is Strava playing up for anybody else? Can locate my Garmin, yet I can see it on the computer. Also can't see any maps on the dashboard? Can't do a manual upload from the computer either?

It keeps knocking me down the leader-boards. Something is very wrong.

Whoop! Managed a 3Lap challenge in 52:44 this morning, despite traffic, post holiday malaise and not setting out to make an attempt. Chuffed doesn't even begin to cover it. Someway off the proper rapid guys, but a PB by around 2 mins I think.
