That segment is annoying. It starts 20m before the start of my route and relies on a green light right at the beginning. Still, might have to start one road back from next week to have a crack at it ;)

Lost another KOM. Another one in Derbyshire on the MTB. It's stood for about a year, yet the other day chap beat me by 2 seconds  I'm not back up those parts till the end of the month so he's going to have to keep it for a while

Yep, I got it with a 5mph rolling start, must have got the timing spot on. It didn't feel too quick so I think it could drop by another 5-10 secs if someone really goes at it.

EDIT: Turns out i'm only sharing the KOM, now thats a let down

Was going to have a crack at this tonight. Started off well then the lights got in the way, so I went back up to Tooting Bec and picked up both the Tooting - Balham KOMs instead

 FML, LCFC1971 is going fast at the mo. Hit 40mph for the Millbank South KoM and took the Millbank North this morning by a couple of seconds. Good effort fella.

Monster. I suspect it'll take a team effort to regain our joint crown.

I'm not sure it always works.

I went up the east "uphill" drag at Regent's Park yesterday at 24mph and didn't even record a PR for that segment. That is the quickest I've been up there. Strange.

Hard to know whether they're legit with the variance in everyone's Garmin settings. But if they then good effort (second by second, no smart recording is what you should have to get the accurate results I think.)

Was wondering if you got my Broadway to Bec KOM , but just the two Bec to Balham ones. You can have those, I can never make the lights by the Argos.

Nah, it would probably give me the outright KOM though as I started of slow compared to Ped Fesh, it seem to triggered from right on the ASZ as the segment shows me just starting off.

The KOM won't stay for long as there is easily 5 secs to knock off it.

If you have smart recording enabled on your Garmin it often gifts you time here and there, and on these short segments it can be a MASSIVE difference.

19.18 for a lap of Richmond park tonight, new pb! I've got 14 days left to get sub 19 mins to hit my target.
Nearly 4 mins now taken off my lap time this year so far.

Excellent. Go out tonight. Warm conditions and should be less traffic. Might see you there!

My goal of a 15 with road set up should be doable now, just waiting for a good wind, and I'm going to try for a 14 when I've got a tt bike. Reckon it might be possible...not sure yet though.

Pootle with a mate this evening who was on a road bike for the first time. Out of Greenwich and back. Few PRs because it was roads I'd not been on before.
Oh, and one KOM. Fairly untravelled route, only a few completed the segment. Stole it from some chap named Cyclingprop though...

I only created it on Saturday I think ;). So I'm hoping the leaderboard will rebuild above you. And am going to have to go out on my loop again - out to that loop and back is 15 miles on the nose from my house, so a useful 50 minute training run if I have to compress weekend rides. Plus 15 miles is the bike distance in the Sprint Tri Im doing next month.

Arrgghhhh - missed the KOM on Lea Bridge Road East by 2 seconds. 7:36. I was 15 seconds ahead 3/4 of the way through when a car overtakes, indicates to turn left, I slow, it stops, I stop, Mexican standoff. So that cost me 17 seconds and a smashed KOM.
