In any segment click on "Silly commuter racers" - it'll filter all people who've recorded a trace and show your rank amongst only SCRrs.

    hurrah, bottom of ever segment!

Looks to cycle where DDD is, that'll see you right

Yep, once you start comparing against All, it becomes rather dispiriting! Still, kept me entertained for a while.

He would. I was less fit than him and it wasn't difficult at Hillingdon.

We should come up with a SCR loop in the Surrey Hills, would sort out the variables a bit I reckon. Or are we of the opinion that 1 lap of the park is long enough and mixed enough for that?

I've not done a 3lc before. Maybe its worth giving it a go!

Where's DDD when you need someone to point out a Star Trek reference?

Ah yes, he's steering clear of the Strava thread

Actually, I'm not sad - it wasn't a startrek reference. It was a scrubs reference.

What I think we need is some IT boffin to write some funkycodeyalgorithimthingy that scrawls through all of our strava uploads, and then based on some user defined variables, spits out "this months best overall rider", or "best sprinter" etc. etc etc SCR 2.0 innit

They do, its called a racing season, you even get points for winning ;)

I suppose one lap or three of the park is about as good as you're going to get to give an overview of a rider.

that's pretty quick. BUT you shouldn't really get a match on it as you didn't come from Pens Ponds, so were able to carry a huge amount of speed from the hill, whereas I had obviously come from Pens Ponds.

Thats the new segment created by CJ isint it. I see I set a pb on there tonight and was only 3 seconds down as well. Got caught in traffic a bit. Sodding cars, why do they have to use the roads as it interferes with my strava .

Indeed it is the new segment. I had to overtake two cars to get that time, do they not realise there is a competition going on!

That was when I was a fat bar steward. I'm on a slow build up to peak on July 8th. Aim for this year is 16.59. Would love a 16.30 but fear thats a bit too much. Already smashed my 3 laps with a 56.30 so positioning nicely for later this year.

I suppose one lap or three of the park is about as good as you're going to get to give an overview of a rider.

For SCR 3 laps is a good measure of the overall ability of a rider, 20 miles with some incline. The likes of Ed F, IP, JG will excel on the inclines but the bigger/heavier riders can pick up time on the flats.

    I'll start the 3 lapper:

    JZED - Clockwise - 56.30
