Christ! 900 miles a week! Chapeau!0 -
Sadly they are "Strava miles" rather than real miles.0

Grrrrr. Someone took my KOM from Tooting Broadway to Bec by 1 second, and I can't get it back (now in NZ). Can one of the SCR bods please take it back on my behalf?
PS - NZ is good and I can't wait for the bike to arrive, already checking out the hills arround me for KOM possibilities0 -
Whereabouts in NZ?FCN 2-4.

I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0

How come I keep losing KOMs but don't always get the "uh oh" email? I'm struggling to keep track of which ones are gone. I think its at least in part due to people flagging segments as dangerous. Who does that? I mean seriously?!
Had a good go at the OKR sprint to Bricklayers this morning. Not convinced I did enough - was a bit slow to get going then slipped a gear along the way, but for once got a green light at the Bricklayers roundabout, so stormed through at the finish. Will have another crack at Bricklayers flyover tonight. Need to get that one ticked off so I can start taking other routes home / before some numpty claims its "dangerous" (like there's anything wrong with doing 30mph+ over a dual carriageway flyover in the dark and wet at rush hour - come on people! )0 -
Use veloviewer to keep track of how many you have (and your best placings on all segments in fact).- Genesis Croix de Fer

Velo viewer is a bit useless. Doesn't work on my phone and doesn't identity when a segment has been flagged as far as I can tell. Also not sure it picks up all segments. Strava viewer with the daily email update was miles better.0

Take THIS KOM if you can
Somehow I doubt it, as its a bit of a deviation from OKR...
Amazed I got it as a) we were filming for an mtb video b) it was more of a push & carry as there is no path/road to speak of. Downhill was fun but bloody scary
Surprised that Strava just "invented" the segment & awarded the KOM as I never made it and no-one else has (been stupid enough) to ride other than my mates in the Donegal MTB but even then it was covered in snow...1997 Gary Fisher Big Sur

I've given up turning Strava on for my commute thru london. I find its now a more chilled out ride, i can "race" or catch or drop people if I choose or i can just pootle along behind young filly in tight lycra if the opportunity presents itself.Bianchi Infinito CV

I've been on strava a couple of weeks now. Just looking at some of the first place riders on some segments and they are clocking speeds of 110km/h. Is this possible?Fat lads take longer to stop.0

Probably not, look at their ride, which should give you a good indication if it was a GPS glitch, of they were going down a massive fecking hill!0

Some of the Strava times seem ridiculous to me.
Let me make it clear I probably wouldn't get close to the times of some of the riders anyway, but I've ridden along many of these roads and on the commute and I can't see how you can average such a fast time and do so safely on a consistent basis.Food Chain number = 4
A true scalp is not only overtaking someone but leaving them stopped at a set of lights. As you, who have clearly beaten the lights, pummels nothing but the open air ahead. ~ 'DondaddyD'. Player of the Unspoken Game0 -
