Just had an epic ride at Cwmcarn...
Rode some of the road up to bypass the really steep trail, then a bit of trail climbing, then a few loops on the "FR" airstream section, then some general trail riding (up and down) then flew over to the downhill track for an absolute blast.
I fricking love this bike! 0 -

I'll be honest, I really wanted the black, but they'd sold out before I had the cash but was set on the bike so went for a bit of brown
Spent ages on Sunday making tweeks to the suspension and its about there now.

Got mine in Feb. She has been changed slightly since then though.
Dropped the front mech and changer straight out of the box as not planning to cycle it up anywhere. Fitted a Superstar Plasma guide to keep the chain on.
Next was a Ti spring. Renthal Fatboy bars. Offset shock bushings to slacken the HA a degree. Saint cranks and Hope bottom bracket with an E13 Turbocharger bash.
Felt the Fork, although super smooth, was a bit linear. Even with the hardest spring in, it dived too easily. Got a cracking deal on some brand new 2010 Boxxer Worlds, so went dual crown with a Sunline direct mount stem.
Loving the bike, yeah i've spent another £350 on her, but that means total spend of just over £2000, which is a bargain!!
Got my first uplift on the 25th at the new Revolution bike park in North Wales, cannot wait!!

Sweet. Oh btw if the car park is anything like it was last Friday it looks like it's shut almost (building work on the RHS as you drive in). It's open as usual; the jet wash area is where Kenny swings the rig around and is used the pick up point. Confused me a little so just a headsup..
The finish is still in the same place also, you just ride past all the porta cabins etc (again assuming it's the same layout as it was..)

Yeah, on the 11th run I decided to check out the top black very slowly just to see what its like... walked 1 section and then a very tight right hander had me over the bars

Lid was sweet, as were the goggles. Proper love goggles now, felt weird at 1st but you don't get runny eyes and no mud in your eyes either! win win.0 -
Yea I found that on my last uplift day! Spent the first two runs blinking like fark to try and clear 'em, then chucked the goggs on and presto hey!
