It's got nothing to do with the current government cutting benefits and raising taxes....as said, these people would do it if you gave them everything they wanted. 1st, 2nd, 3rd generation immigrants with zero respect for a country that stupidly welcomed them with open arms, a free house and free money every month! I’m not actually against immigration itself, let’s not forget large amounts of our crops are harvested by eastern Europeans who aren’t afraid of the hard work the locals can’t be bothered to do and there are a couple of poles where I work who are thoroughly decent people. I wasn’t saying the problem is because they are immigrants, more that there has clearly been a breakdown socially over time and they seem to highlight it the most. They are also youths from indigenous families who are just as alienated from modern society.0 -

funny, looking at the clips seems to be pretty mixed bag of colours, must be some of those english unemployed chavs who feel entitled to live off the state as it's their birthright or something rather then getting up and finding work like those hard working poles.
When I was working in a kitchen about 15 years ago I remember the English head chef bemoaning the fact that he couldn't employ any english as they weren't willing to stick at the job, most of the staff were North African/ Scottish/Irish.0 -

I think your points are more than valid. In my experience the problem seems to be that these actions are being committed by black people. Black communities (ghettoes in all but names) have a different structure than other communities. In Liverpool 8 for example there used to be a kind of cabal of village elders who over saw life there, they dispensed wisdom and guidance, what happened with the riots in Toxteth is that their authority was challenged by local drugsters/gangsters and as a consequence there was no respect for the elders authority.
Nowadays you have youngsters who look up to those local 'gangsters'. And if your only aspiration is to a big gangster then your doom is set. They are effectively big fish in a small pond and are surprised to find that outside of their community they receive no respect at all.
And as was mentioned in another post if you receive no respect you tend to have no respect in return.
It's still a bafflement to me that we can talk of racial integration yet tolerate ghettoes of black/asian/chinese etc.
At the end of the day thieving scum are thieving scum be they black white chinese or welsh.The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns

I know it's not just immigrants and i know a lot of Poles who don't mind a bit of hard graft and do things that British youths refuse to do. I had an argument with a mate of mine who has zero qualifications and was trying to get a job....i pointed him in the direction of a council contract to pick up litter in the local park...wasn't interested because he thought he was above it! It's exactly this sort of attitude that is the problem, and then these people have the nerve to moan about eastern europeans coming over and taking all the jobs! What a load of bull.
As i said, this is 2nd and 3rd generation scroats. Their parents (and possibly even grandparents) probably have no ambition for themselves or their children. Probably live off benefits and are bringing their children up the same way. This in turn leads to anti-social behavior, criminality and all sorts of crime. I'm not saying that every person who is rioting has this background, but i bet the vast majority do! They need a kick up the arse and a bit of self-respect!
