    What the hell?

Clearly need a proper bike fit, have no idea about bike fitting, I'm no expert but the frame must be the wrong size, you can't be human shaped/proportion if that thing fits. It's a truly pathetic bike position, no matter how much you think it's right for you it's not.....

The thought of someone riding this has gave me heartburn again!

YAY! People are entitled to their opinion, I'm not arsed. I stretch for 30mins every day to get used to my TT bike so this position comes naturally just to be a bit more aero as I find it really difficult to get in an aero position on road bikes even in the drops.

May we see the TT bike please?

I must admit, I didn't know stems like that existed. Do you have incredibly long arms?

    okay few questions,

when sprinting does your rear wheel go up in the air and how do you manage to climb with that position and still see ahead & not compromise on your breathing. Do you work on your neck flexibility?

Not taking the piss, serious questions!

Its not just the stem is ridiculous, its the fact the seat is tilted back aswel. The only way I can see that bike could be ridden is sat very upright with arms about 6ft long.

Untill I see a photo of him riding it, Ill assume its just a joke to get a reaction

I don't believe that this bike fits you properly.

Even if it does, it looks f##king awful.

    You are trying too hard.

I'm still waiting to see a pic of this bike being ridden.

Think the OP has got too scared of us laughing.

Just where do you put your balls by the way? Do you tuck them in or just splay them over the sides of the seat? Hope you've already had your kids.

He won't post pictures now because he's probably realised what a clown he looked on it and also gone for fertility tests, then on the way home probably dropped in at a bike fitters.

Don't worry I'll feed your playground banter when I can be bothered, thought I'd let the suspense build up.

Thinking of changing the red stem for a white one, black bar tape and white hudz?

Had another really good ride on her today. I was going to say that I was doing Tour of peak on Sunday so you could have your giggles then but unable to so might do the
one the Sunday after. Geoff THomas I think.

Read this post on my phone last night and because I was on my phone I couldn't scroll the pics so couldn't see the stem. I've seen it now but I still don't believe it.

Fair play to you Crimmey if that works for you. Steering at lower speed must feel pretty weird with the bars so far over the wheel.

I think some people are being a bit cruel, I mean they laughed at Obree. On saying that, it is one of the weirdest bikes I've ever seen and I too would love to see the guy riding it!
  • You might as well have just bought a TT bike.

That's the oddest looking bike set-up I've ever seen.

I wouldn't bother about changing the colour of the stem, tape and hoods - it'll still look just as bad.

You're not doing the Tour of the Peaks now - I'm in that :/

Would have been a sight seeing you climbing up a Cat2 on that thing :D

Minimal weight on the bars. The saddle angle keeps the weight wholly on the saddle.

No, it doesn't. The angle of the saddle has no impact on your weight distribution. It may help you feel as though you are supporting that weight more easily but it doesn't stop the weight being where it is in the first place (ie a long way forward).

Why not spend money on getting it fitted properly?

Nah the one cruel one is the OP riding it like that.
