I'm with him on this one..."In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

i realise that Sky dont have to chase this guy, but shouldnt they at least be up front to keep out of trouble?
edit - they are quite close! :oops:0 -
Roche crashed... back on the bike. Katusha rider Silin down too. Quick Step's Capelle worst off.
Roche's road rash... ouchie.0 -
cant see geraint lasting long on this climb0

Kern wins the stage, wiggins finishs 6th, 9s down0
-
Interesting to note that Basso finished at the back of the first group. Iain will be pleased.0

I think Basso`s riding on bluff so that he can come under the radar in a month.0

RichN95 wrote:That was an excellent stage. Attacks all over the place. Wiggins looked good, comfortably covering the important attacks.
With Sorensen chasing Kern, it was like some sort of gurning competition.
Yea good stage to watch that one. I think the thread title should be changed as there has been more talk about CK than the actual racing..........ok he is sh*t but you guys are regurgitating the same old day in day out.Gasping - but somehow still alive !0 -

Wiggins climbing well but today is going to be a good challenge for him.0

Bizarre0 -
Break consisting of Mauro Finetto (Liquigas), Egoi Martinez (Euskaltel), Cyril Gautier (Europcar), Andrey Amador (Movistar), Kevin Seeldrayers (Quick Step), Juan Manuel Garate (Rabobank), Yuriy Trofimov (Katusha) and Sandy Casar (FDJ) have an advantage of 3.09 to main chunk of peleton.
Believe peleton has fractured (could be wrong), yellow jersey in front half of peleton. Sky not surprisingly leading the chase.
Nearing top of col de Tamié.0 -
Are the parrots gonna replace the radios - one on each rider's shoulder squarking "Come on, give it full gas - full gas!" in the riders' ears? Could they actually train one to say "Who's a pretty boy?" in Cuddles ear? Messages being relayed back to the team cars using squadrons of homing pigeons?0
-
43.1km average for the first 2 hours, with a couple of medium Alpine cols thrown in.
Who would have thunk it?"Science is a tool for cheaters". An anonymous French PE teacher.0 -
Any live feeds on yet ??

Dont you just hate it when like today Le Mans is on BOTH eurosport channels. It`s always the same with them most of the big cycling stages are either on a Sat or Sun.
I will be raging if they come to the race and there`s about 5km left to go.0 -

I get more annoyed when they show the same tennis that's on BBC1 (at least Murray got it over and done with quickly)Twitter: @RichN950 -
