I'm with him on this one...
"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Roche crashed... back on the bike. Katusha rider Silin down too. Quick Step's Capelle worst off.

    Roche's road rash... ouchie.

That was an excellent stage. Attacks all over the place. Wiggins looked good, comfortably covering the important attacks.

With Sorensen chasing Kern, it was like some sort of gurning competition.

Interesting to note that Basso finished at the back of the first group. Iain will be pleased.

I think Basso`s riding on bluff so that he can come under the radar in a month.

I noticed that. His explanation of not have race rhythm sounds about right.

He's got reverse dauphine effect going on!
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.

Yea good stage to watch that one. I think the thread title should be changed as there has been more talk about CK than the actual racing..........ok he is sh*t but you guys are regurgitating the same old day in day out.

Break consisting of Mauro Finetto (Liquigas), Egoi Martinez (Euskaltel), Cyril Gautier (Europcar), Andrey Amador (Movistar), Kevin Seeldrayers (Quick Step), Juan Manuel Garate (Rabobank), Yuriy Trofimov (Katusha) and Sandy Casar (FDJ) have an advantage of 3.09 to main chunk of peleton.

Believe peleton has fractured (could be wrong), yellow jersey in front half of peleton. Sky not surprisingly leading the chase.

Nearing top of col de Tamié.

Are the parrots gonna replace the radios - one on each rider's shoulder squarking "Come on, give it full gas - full gas!" in the riders' ears? Could they actually train one to say "Who's a pretty boy?" in Cuddles ear? Messages being relayed back to the team cars using squadrons of homing pigeons?

I had one of them red bikes but I don't any more. Sad face.

43.1km average for the first 2 hours, with a couple of medium Alpine cols thrown in.

Dont you just hate it when like today Le Mans is on BOTH eurosport channels. It`s always the same with them most of the big cycling stages are either on a Sat or Sun.
I will be raging if they come to the race and there`s about 5km left to go.

I get more annoyed when they show the same tennis that's on BBC1 (at least Murray got it over and done with quickly)
