Loving the look of this but have to say the cable routing doesn't seem considered (not by lawman but by Ibis). Highlighting it with white cables hasn't helped either.
Other than that love the stealthy almost logoless frame.Up: Wilier Mortirolo

to start with i wasnt running it correctly, but when i got a remote seatpost, as seen in the last picture, i changed it to the correct routing, which imo matches the lines of the frame really and is very very discreet when riding, turners and some vpp bikes having shocking routing... but each to their own
frame needs more green, kinda wish it looked more like this... (but green instead of orange )

im a hair under 6 foot 1, but ive got shortish legs so went for the medium, as it matched the geometry of my maxlight size wise, i'd say a medium would be too short for you judging by your LTC, a large would be good for you i think, i could have gone for a large tbh, im pretty in between sizes, but for me i reckon the medium is spot on
i will post pics when ive got my warranty replacement axle for my pro2's from hope :roll:0 -

well impressed with the reverb, seriously, seriously good piece of kit, wipes the floor with the joplin, and its so nice the chain actually stays in place now, rather than hanging off the outside of the big ring!!0 -
1x9 is definitely the way forward, using my big full sus for XC now on 1x9 and still don't regret it (though i might swap the 36t ring for 34t). Seriously nice bike though mate, but i hope you don't mind me asking how a student affords that?! I'm also a student and just had to consolidate both my bikes into one so I would have some money, and I'm still broke!0

yep, love my 1x10 set-up, works a treat and i havent lost the chain yet, and a ding on the taco shows it works well
good question, that i've been asked many times by peeps in the MTB club, i took a gap year, worked my ass off, set some money aside for uni, and blew most of the rest on this i dont drink too much either tbh, so i've saved a fortune on booze this is finished for sure now, hardtail is next on my list to freshen up, that or a blur 4x thats just come up on fleabay, tempted doesn't even begin to describe it 0 -

to be brutally honest, recently ive found a few flaws with the HD, very slight, teeny tiny flaws admittedly, but still flaws none the less. since ive been at uni and riding more DH and abit less XC, ive found the wheelbase could be a bit longer and the head angle abit slacker, and id like an extra half an inch or so in the top tube, im running the saddle pretty far back atm, something with the top tube of the large and a medium seat tube would be perfect, and in this respect, the likes of yeti and whyte are bang on the money, i sometimes still pine after a 146x, but very rarely, the hope mini's are finding their limitations too, not a great deal of power tbf, but i only notice that on very rare instances in the wet. lastly the shock seems to suffer a little bit in the mid stroke, its not quite as supportive as id like and tends to sit to far in its travel, even with correct sag, come summer i'll get it serviced, revalved and kashima'd by mojo, its only an extra £75 to get it coated which includes a new shaft and air can, good value if you ask me!! i'll be using my hardtail as a test bed for some changes soon though, i'll be selling my old hopes and trying out the new xt brakes, and i'll try a works components angleset to slacken it out to 66ish degrees, see what it feels like, and if all is well i'll do the same to the mojo, it'll probably need new pads and headset bearings anyway come february, but thats what you get for getting a cheapy FSA headset i should out some more green stuff soon too, those blue and red decals just look shite!! 0 -
That sounds like a pretty long list of issues/doubts you have there lol..
Maybe you should think about fitting a longer travel fork to slacken the head-angle up. It seems to be the fashion these days to fit 160 to 180mm 36's on trail/AM bikes these days.
What height are you? Maybe riding a Large frame with a 50mm stem would suit you better.
How do you find the stiffness of your HD? I only ask as i rode standard Mojo for a riding weekend a couple years back and although i did liked it alot, i did find it pretty damn flexy when being pushed compared to the bikes i owned around that time (Although flex is not necessarily a bad thing if it flexes in the right way, Superbikes are a good example of engineered flex).0 -

if i like the slacker angles on my maxlight, i'll get a works components angleset for the HD, the toptube and saddle i cant really do much about, but the rest i have abit of tweaking potential, the other i have, and its a darn tempting one is wait till late next year and sell it if i prefer the yeti sb66c, on paper it looks spot on, its got iscg tabs, a big thing i dont like about the HD, the geometry look spot on, yes its bloody expensive, but i could a fair bit back for the HD, this all hypothetical of course, i love this bike to bits, its my baby, but you always wish for a little change, like i said these are tiny, microscopic flaws in an other wise superb bike, but as i've progressed abit further, the sizing has become a bit off, it would take the yeti to absolutely blow my mind to make me even begin to think about trading in, but like any bike you get to know it in time, and i've grown to love the HD, its great, its practically perfect, but i just keep wishing it could address the issues i think it has, it probably hasn't, i'm just being so picky its not healthy, in an ideal world and what not 0 -

When I said this was finished, I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the new XT brakes!! In fact I got on with them so well on a demo bike I've got two sets now! Not yet fitted to the Mojo as its at home for a few weeks, but it's all there including 180/160mm icetech rotors and if the ones on the maxlight are anything to go by with the Icetech rotors they should be immense on this, very much looking forward to trying it out!!
Other than this change it's still pretty much the same, played around with the shock bit and found it's lacking abit of support in the corners, so when it eventually needs a service around april time it'll be tuned and kashima'd up 8) Also hoping to get round to finishing the green theme off with fork and rim decals, need to trim the reverb hose too, but otherwise I'm just loving it atm, shame it's gonna gather dust for a few more weeks!0 -

I got Green decals for Crests on my Jekyll from http://r2-bike.com/Notubes-Crest-Felgensticker. Email them directly telling them what you want, and you might find they will post them for free.
What was your plan for fork stickers ? Have you found anywhere that sells original decals, or was your plan to just go the after market route?
I found a few places that produce them in various styles and colours.

Seriously impressed with the Xt's so far, not used them on the Mojo yet, but the set on the maxlight seem mega powerful, as I said in my thread on that, I'm gonna stick my 160mm rotor on rather than the 183, its almost too powerful!0 -

Yep fork decals are from slikgraphics and they are green, great match for the crest decals despite coming from a different place, lime green is a stock option too from their site, its on their list of colours 0

Yep will do Probably won't be for a little while though, trying to cut back on trips home to save money, costing me a bomb going back and forth to home from uni two or three times a month! should be back sometime in mrach, so will give it all a proper test then and if I have time, will get the decals sorted Still looking into geometry change ups, works components haven't got back to me yet, so will drop them another email at some point, other option is fsa or canecreek, but like the idea of the works components ones, as they do a 2 degree offset headset, zero stack lower cup so will need the 2 degree one to get it out to 66, might not go that extreme, but I need to get some fitness back first before I do anything else! 0

I Fitted a small spacer to my 5 to fix what sounds like a similar problem, namely lack of midstroke support, seems to have done the trick.
For 20 quid a set they might worth experimenting with, dead easy to fit, they should allow you to run more sag which will slacken the head angle a touch.0
