    1lb back on!? Pretty miffed - can hardly walk due to the running and cycling I've been doing and haven't had a drop of booze in 4 weeks.

    My scales reckon I've put muscle on and lost fat but I'm starting to trust them less and less.

    Another couple of pounds this week. It feels a bit disappointing as I have been so strict with my diet.

    But it is the first full week back on my bike since November, so I'm seeing quite a bit of muscle gain and I'm down a couple of notches on my belt.

    no movement for me... Its begining to get annoying! I was targetting 3lbs for the week and it hasn't happened. I just feel thinner but the scales don't agree!!

    It must be all the birthdays at work with the cake buying! theirs one every other day at the minute!

    Hitting the ground running this week and really going to be paying attention to what goes into my belly.

    Feb is the start of my triathlon training so starting the week as I mean to go on which is good as my weight loss has stalled big time thanks to me being a bit too comfortable eating junk since xmas.

    while I'm on the subject though why are all online recipes for healthy meals always 'quick and/or simple?

    are they trying to say fatties are lazy and stupid?

    I enjoy cooking and will put effort into it if it yields something tasty but it's impossible to find complex recipes that don't fall on the fatty fat fat oh you so fat fatty fat fat fat side of nutrition.

    Slow progress, but I put it all down to the new muscle I've been putting on, and nothing to do with beer or pies.

    So how come everybody is using imperial measures? My scales only read in Kg and it's doing my head in converting it all. Too continental?

    No change for me :(

    Imperial measures used because we're in the UK, not Europe :) You can convert easily enough - plenty of online conversion sites if you google.

    No change for me over the last week. But going out for food/drinkies three nights last week hasn't helped, so I'm happy with 13st 1lb still.
